Fixed Champions League Draw

A Turk ex-referee has created a lot of doubt that the Champions League Draw is fixed

Ahmet Cakar has appeared in a turkish TV telling about how UEFA has manipulated the draw held in Switzerland

According to Cakar, Uefa has made this happen through vibrating balls. When the draw happens all the balls vibrate except the ones that they want to play each other.

Anyways, there will always be speculation that the draw is fixed, and right now, I really don't know which way I believe! I guess it'll be just one of those things which is always speculated but never proven, or takes a really long time to proven. I do know however that Uefa/Fifa are corrupt.

Was there any doubt to begin with? The most obvious was the rehearsal draw for the last 16- it turned out to be the actual draw. Same exact teams pitted against each other.

It's so obvious it's fixed. And the semis will be fixed too. Uefa want a classico final this year.

But some will argue that was just a coincidence. I am leaning towards that they are fixed, but I personally am not entirely sure.

No coincidence.. It's so damn obvious, in the next round Barca & Real will evade each other, I would bet all my money on it.

I just did some checking on youtube about the quarter final draw and I can say its totally true about this.

Put it on full screen and watch it after Real Madrid gets drawn. Between 1:41, 1:42 you can totally see the other balls vibrating after they pick the ball with PSG name on it.

You guys are probably right. I'm just trying to look for the best in people (or in this case, Uefa) and be optimistic, because if it is fixed, it's terrible for football. If RM and Barca do each other (if they make it through- go Galatasaray!) then I would have to agree that is' fixed.

And Mr. Festim, I can understand Spanish (although not fluently, but more than basic...but I digress) so I'll make sure to watch that video later.

Even if its fixed its better for us. Dont you want to see 2 big semi-finals? UEFA tries to entertain us

Chelsea getting drawn into the group of death this season as punishment for not submitting to the fixed draw last season

For that, Barca and Real first need to get to the semis and then past them. Didn't work last year either.

If the draw is fixed, then who can say that each and every game is not fixed? Why would the UEFA restrict themselves to fixing the draws?

If the games are fixed, then what is the point of watching football?

would have to be a bit naive to believe an organization with that much money and power isnt corrupt.

If they want to force a Clasico final, why do they draw Madrid - United so early?

A few years ago, it seemed fixed to give the English teams an easy time. Now it seems it is fixed to give the Spanish teams an easy time. Maybe it is just luck.

So sad to see this. I just hope the players arent involved too, like REAL actors Perhaps this is like wrestling?

Chelsea, Milan, Arsenal, Manchester United are all out. Galatasaray, PSG and Malaga have progressed. If FIFA are fixing things to get the big names deep into the competition they are doing it wrong.

Ireland - Estonia "draw" (EURO 2012 quali. play-offs) was fixed, but this Champions League draw? I really doubt..
