‘Hit Bayern on the counter’

Alessandro Costacurta believes that Juventus can hurt Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The Old Lady were paired with the German giants this morning and will start the tie as underdogs.

However, former Milan and Italy defender Costacurta thinks that the Turin outfit will have a chance of reaching the semi-finals.

“It will be very difficult for Juventus,” Costacurta told Sky Sport Italia. “The level of German sides is always high and they have an important mentality.

“Bayern, though, do suffer when they are counter-attacked seeing as their central defenders are their weak point.”
