Premier League- Week 30 (Very interesting fixtures)
A bit early, but I think this upcoming week, being the week just before international break has some real cracking ties that could make or break some team's seasons:
Everton- Man City
Everton in bad morale, while City are picking up some form but haven't won at Goodison in years. Anything but a City win and the title is over. if Everton lose this, they may drop to the 8th!! spot. Who saw that coming a month ago?
Aston Villa- QPR
Both teams won their relegation 6-pointers last week and now they go head to head for another six-pointer. The winner of this game will be massive. Both teams are in decent form (For a relegation candidate), and want to get closer toe the 30 line for now.
Southampton- Liverpool
Saints have won 1 game in 6 games under Pochetinno and that being the demolishing of Man City. They are getting to close to the relegation zone for comfort and having only gathered 1 point in their last 3 games, they must come and get something. Liverpool know they must win to keep the CL dreams alive. Both teams are good at goal scoring and not so good at defending
Stoke- WBA
Stoke, alongside Norwich and Sunderland are bottom of the form table. Their safety isn't guaranteed at all and they could yet be dragged in the relegation zone. for the first time in years, fans are going anti-Pulis and despite their impressive record vs WBA, this could get nasty for them. BIG BIG game for Stoke. WBA seem back in form, and they could go above Everton if they muster a win here
Swansea- Arsenal
Swansea's season is pretty much done, though I assume they'd be looking for a top 10 finish. Arsenal are crippled with injuries again and will be back from a game in Germany (We don't know how that one will pan out). Arsenal must win to take advantage of Spurs' loss on sunday, and it'll be a very tricky game for both teams.
Manchester United- Reading
Ferguson is fuming after the last 2 games and Reading don't have a manager. United to win 7-0 then. More chance of swanhends being Kate Winslet's date at the Oscars next year, than Reading getting a point here.
Sunderland- Norwich
Sunderland have gathered 1 point in their last 5 games. their fixture list after this game looks very bad on paper. They simply MUST win to avoid getting involved in relegation scrap. Norwich had a chance to dismiss relegation fears last week, but Holt bottled. SOL will be interesting
Spurs- Fulham
Nothing to see here. Spurs will trash a Fulham side with nothing to play for. Bale rested, and boom
Chelsea- West Ham
Just like Stoke, WHU aren't safe yet. it's a London derby, and West Ham wouldn't mind doing the double on Chelsea. This game could depend a lot on outcome of Chelsea's european game on thursday. You never know which Chelsea will show up.
Wigan- Newcastle
Most unpredictable game imo. You just don't know which Wigan will show up. last year they won this fixture 4-0 after Newcastle was on run of 6 wins in a row. Newcastle have done well at home with new signings, but not as good away. they also have a European tie on thursday. Wigan MUST start their annual escape on sunday.
So much to stake next week, before a 2-week break. So looking forward to it
Everton- Man City

Liverpool will pass Arsenal on the ladder (although the gunners will have a game in hand) if they beat Southampton more than 2 goals. Can't see Arsenal getting a positive result for themselves at Swansea. Michu to strike again.
Southampton should of stayed with Adkins. They've been all over the place in their last few games with Pocahontas.

I doubt the European tie will effect us that much tbh.... we beat Stoke and Southampton after European ties and made 7 changes from the European game in both games for example....
Vs Anzhi:
Vs Stoke:
It will be a difficult game but i don't want to be blaming Europe on it as we have the squad to rotate effectively now at least in most positions.
Vs Anzhi:
Elliot
Simpson Perch MYM Haidara
Cabaye Anita
Marveaux Sissoko Obertan
Ben Arfa

Man City to win, QPR to win, Liverpool to win, hopefully WBA win so Stoke get relegated, Swansea vs Arsenal will be a draw, Man Utd will win, Sunderland vs Norwich will be a draw, Spurs will win, Chelsea will win and Wigan vs Newcastle will be a draw.

Re: Premier League- Week 30 (Very interesting fixtures)
Some big games and some otherwise interesting games.
My random prediction is that the winner of Aston Villa v QPR match will beat the drop while the loser won't.
Stoke v West Brom, well, Stoke have been in relegation form, 5 points from last 10 games. Still they are 11th in the table, but apparently many people here would enjoy seeing them going into panic-mode and start seriously flirting with relegation. And yeah, I've got nothing against Stoke, but actually so would I, for the fun of it.
Hopefully Swansea beat Arsenal
Wigan v Newcastle is an interesting one. The rest aren't quite as big games, imo, as these four - from a neutral point of view anyway.

Wigan are flying high but like OP stated they really need the 3 points this weekend.
I think they can do it.

1 win in last 6 league games suggest otherwise... Will still be very difficult mind.

Just saying implies i don't know that
Fact is they are not flying high at the moment, you can twist that any way you like but fact is at the moment their recent league form isn't impressive.
Having said this i fully expect us to get a point at most

Well they beat Everton 0-3 so they are kind of on a good run of form.

Exactly the type of situation where we've dropped points already this season... I'm honestly nervous.

Re: Premier League- Week 30 (Very interesting fixtures)
Made the following bets for tomorrow's games in Prem. will be watching with a lot of excitement:
20$ on United, Real Madrid and BVB to all win => Return : $40
$5 on Suarez to score, Villa-QPR BTTS, Stoke-WBA under 2.5 goals => Return: 26.50
$1 on Fellaini to score first, but City win 2-1 => Return: $126
as long as one of those bets come true, it'll be a successful day
