Tottenham vs Liverpool

It's late and i cba to make a decent thread.

So.

Liverpool have been submissing themselves to Tottenham since 2010. Will they break their duck? It seems even in the games Spurs don't dominate, Liverpool have a way of making sure they don't win against Tottenham.


After a great performance at White Hart Lane in a North London Derby win, Tottenham are flying high on confidence.

Both teams are on great form heading into this game, but I think a Tottenham win is inevitable.

I have a feeling this is going to be a very entertaining draw. I think Spurs best chance at 3 points is to frustrate the possession of Liverpool and force them into a slug fest and cut them with the speed of our play, a la the first Mersey-side derby this season where Everton didn't play better but they sucked Liverpool into a slug fest.

At least with Bale not being able to play the second Europe leg we know we don't have to save him so he can go full bore all game if he wants. I'm really hoping Dempsey is at least fit enough to come in as a sub because we're going to need him against Inter to protect the 3 goal cushion.

Really looking forward to this one, I just wish I didn't have to watch it on a stream...

Spurs were awful for the first 35 or so minutes- looked great the last 10 and Siggy should have scored, and Vertonghen the Belgian GOAT scored off a beautiful Bale cross

I think Tottenham can win this one- pls AVB take Livermore off, he hasn't done sh*t. Either him or Brave Scotty Parker. Put Holtby in for one of them.

We should've had a pen you know. Coutinho was impeded by Walker when Suarez put a ball across. I felt we were the better team in the first half if you consider the whole 45minutes

That was a clear pen, I know the anger is clouding your judgement.

Even if that's true, who knows if he would have got the rebound anyway. Liverpool fans acting like the ref is always against them when in reality that's hardly ever the case.

Today it was the case though for sure. Oliver called almost every 50/50 call in your favor. But hey I don't give two shites, we won.

Not at all mate. I was back up from this game before the end of the day. A Barca loss would have knocked me out for all of yesterday and at least part of today.

I like Spurs and I am a bit emotionally attached, but it's marginal at best.
