The qatari would pay close to 60 Million Euros, and was introduced to Pallotta by former Juventus player Michele Padovano, who was sentenced to 8 years, 8 months for drug trafficking in 2011..... :coffee:

I've read that they have insofar no proof that the sheiks have any money at all and thus Unicredit (still a shareholder) is not willing to do this. Has the cash been confirmed?

This sheik in particular has been living in Italy for 20 years and has yet to make a significant investment.

Maybe they cooled down the rumor to stabilize the share price cause it went crazy and fluctuated as hell in last days....

Qatari sheik living in Italy for 20 yrs with no money, makes sense to me... Why invest?? Why the headache?

60m isn't enough to get in business with shady people imho, not for a club the size of Roma.

Some roma shares are still controlled by Unicredit or whatever that banks name was, not the americans. I think he wants to buy that part.

But he seems quite.. um.. poor. If we go arabian, then Id like a better sheik. Or why not a rich chinese businessman.
