How would you react if it turned out your favorite team or player doped their way to success?

Suppose your favorite team or player was uncovered to be doping. How would you react? Would it change anything if other teams or players were also implicated?

It would shatter me. Say if I found out Brazilian Ronaldo or Maldini doped, I would not know what to do. Maybe even stop watching.

I would be deeply disappointed. But then, I don't think that even doping the RWO players until the stuff comes out of their ears would help them to win any match

I might sound pessimistic, but I feel that at top level, more or less everybody is doped at some degree.
Some are caught, some are not. Some take “legal” dopes some try illegal stuff.
Anyway there is no one convincing me that the likes of Messi and Ronaldo perform the way they do all those years back to back just with healthy diet and exercise.

when it comes to logic, it seems to me that the worlds biggest sport being cleaner than all others is a bit weird.

Favorite player -> Will dislike player

Favorite club -> Will still support the club, but will dislike all individuals involved

Bottom line.. I hate cheaters

good thing doesnt matter if a coach is doped

he can get involved in a doping scandal though.

TBH I don't care that much, if it helps them play more attractive football i'm all for it. Every player takes some sort of performance enhancing drugs.

It depends.

I would feel very bad, as if they didnt really earn it.

However, I would find it hard to believe (as I do now) that there is only one club doing it.

I'd be pretty disappointed, to say the least.

I was thinking of that as I made the thread. Maradona was actually caught doping yet very few people hold that against him almost 20 years after it happened, when you would think the passions had settled. Guardiola was caught doping as well, but it as soon as he became successful at a well established club that was "rectified". Suspicious to say the least. Juve got caught cheating and their support didn't diminish. In all instances there are people that believe the players/teams were framed and did nothing wrong. It seems that would be the first reaction, denial. But not many fans actually make it over to anger from there.

Every single player out there is in all likelihood walking the fine line between "supplements" and PED use, so my reaction would be the same as always: herewegoagain.jpg
