2/1/2013 Toulouse FC v Paris Saint-Germain
Toulouse entertain PSG in Round 23 of the French Ligue One
Toulouse are ranked 10th and have collected 31 points from 22 games. They have a positive goal difference of 6. There last five games are DLWDW.
On the other hand, PSG are the league leaders and have collected 45 points from 22 games with a +26 goal difference. They are on an impressive run and their last ten games has seen them win 8 times with one draw and one loss included in that run.
PSG have the strongest squad and most quality due to their considerable investment made during the transfer window and the players are beginning to gel and this is reflected in the results.
The last time these two teams met PSG won 2-1. I have a feeling that PSG will struggle to win this game.
Carlo Ancelotti has named the following squad to take on Toulouse this Friday.
Groupe / Players list :
ARMAND Sylvain
ARRONDEL Alvin
CAMARA Zoumana
CONTE Antoine
CHANTÔME Clément
DOUCHEZ Nicolas
GAMEIRO Kevin
IBRAHIMOVIC Zlatan
JALLET Christophe
LAVEZZI Ezequiel
LE CROM Ronan
LUCAS
MATUIDI Blaise
MAXWELL Sherrer
MENEZ Jérémy
PASTORE Javier
SAKHO Mamadou
SIRIGU Salvatore
VAN DER WIEL Gregory
VERRATTI Marco
Absents :
ALEX
AREOLA Alphonse
BECKHAM David
BODMER Mathieu
MOTTA Thiago
SILVA Thiago
TIENE Siaka

Psg playing well so far. 35 mins in and 1-0 up. Patore scored. could have had more... but it's fair. Sakho is being a beast. Ibra looking like he's a bit in the mood tonight. He dezones too much though for my taste... no need.

honestly, lucas looks like a euro player, not a brazilian one. very tactically aware.

dominant perfromance. playing very smooth and well in every department. lucas, ibra, pastore and lavezzi playng very well together. But lucas has been the best passer imo. can't think of anyone who hasn't played well.
pastore acored on a volley from a pass from lavezzi (lavezzi was offsides to be fair). lucas sent a beauty cross to ibra who headed on the second. M'bengue got sent of for toulouse late in the half.
breeze of a game. love lucas' game.
one thing though... ibra is getting on his teammates' nerves. i can tell. he needs to tone it down. he's not playong with scrubs.

PSG playing very well compared to the past games.Midfield is still frustrating though, way too many fouls.Looks like Ibra has been playing much more as a pure CF recently, and thats why he hasnt been much of a technical highlight as usual.
lucas has 2 assists in 3 ligue 1 games he is so much different from the sao paulo lucas,i dont think he is even a winger anymore.More of a hybrid between winger and am like hazard

the best thing IMO was Verratti showing he could cut out the naïve exuberance and play in a 2-man midfield ... attaboy, Marco!
