i'm just as surprised. I thought he'd stay til he retired, but I can understand that he wants to try a different scene before he gets too old. one thing is for sure, he will leave Spain.

Hopefully we will buy Courtious off Chelsea,there is no point Chelsea keeping him.He has 3 years left on his contract a the end of the season and Cech will be there number 1 for another 5 years at least.Surely Courtious doesn't want to go back to Chelseas bench when he has been playing for a top team the last 2 years and won 2 trophies.

I'm sure he can. He's like 5 inches smaller than De Gea as well. He's already flapping around with the 1 high ball Barcelona concede per game.

Valdes is good with his feet. I'm not sure other GK's are.

I was thinking about this but why not look at a GK who is a good shot stopper, with good presence who commands his box.

They lack presence in the box as it is so looking for a GK who could come and collect when need be could be a excellent idea.

Sod the passing, they have 10 players to do that as it is

Reina's had his chance, he was worse than Valdes.

Im glad he improved though and become a solid goalie. Too mistake prone for me these days and like I said a few years ago, his excellent long balls would be nice, but in the end, mostly wasted with us.

Time to go young I think, someone from La Liga too. I like Guita, De Gea I think will grow out of his errors eventually...I hate Courtious. We will never win a Classic again while Cristiano play, the guy literally lets everything in vs him.

I agree with mole, someone who is a shot shopper and can control the box would be idea. Competent with the ball and not error prone and im happy.
