Re: Guardiola to Bayern
Well, Pep has a 3 year contract and is in his 2nd year now. It is just as likely that they will let the contract run out after the third year and no one needs to get sacked.

Re: Guardiola to Bayern
if this season goes sismilarly well as last season they will try to extend sooner rather than later.

Re: Guardiola to Bayern
Despite just qualifying for the Champions League semifinals after a resounding win against Porto, Bayern Munich is looking to the future. The qualification to the next round made the bond between Guardiola and the German club stronger. This is what Bayern's CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, had to say about Guardiola's future in an interview to Bild:"Pep will certainly be our coach until 2016, but we'll try to extend the contract beyond it's current terms. There is a good chance that Guardiola will be our coach for a long time"

Re: Guardiola to Bayern
Okay, for now I'll move it back to the GenSec. But mind you, the Bayern section won't get livelier if all Bayern topics are only discussed in the GenSec ^^

Re: Guardiola to Bayern
Well, for Pep without Bayern we actually have this "What next for Pep" thread, so one could also consider merging these two threads.

Re: Guardiola to Bayern
Bundesliga dudes. I haven't watched Bayern in a while, and I just saw they started with:
Neuer; Alaba, Alonso, Badstuber, Lahm; Kimmich; Coman, Robben, Muller, Costa; Lewandowski.
Wtf is that? 2 strikers, 3 wingers, 1 CB how do they actually line up? does this work?
With the CL coming up I wanted to get an idea of how they are playing. Is this just Pep being Pep or are they actually pulling that off?

Benatia, Boateng and Martinez are injured so there is only one CB left.
