Look we know Messi can score these type of goal on a regular occasion, the guy is head and shoulders above anything in football. Just stop trying to make it abour barca for once...

I don't think anyones really arguing that the goal is something out of this world just based on the play alone. Its all about the situation. Obviously stoppage time goals to equalize when you are behind in a knock out competition is going to seem like a better goal than it actually is if it happened at any other time. Based on just looks, sure that goal is better but thats what the thread is about really.

I don't understand why Messi or La liga is being mentioned in this thread ?

I have been spoiled quite a bit Messi's goals to be too TOO impressed. However, that touch was amazing.

Hardly anyone posts, messi, cr7, ibrahimovic, falcao goals in the general section. You wanted everyone to see the goal and posted it in the general section, so expect derailments and off-topic discussions

As much as I think Van Persie is an asshat, I can't help but feel a little proud when you guys are drooling over a fellow dutchman's performance.

Anyway, great first touch obv. Wish he would step up for the national team. It's unfortunate that he's already relatively old. We've got some good youngsters coming through but he'll be on decline when they reach their prime. Who knows, maybe he would've been able to click better with that bunch in their prime.

There are over 10 pages in General section with Threads related to Messi. I have never seen you complain about them being in the wrong section. Why is that ? There was a commercial posted on Messi yesterday. Why weren't you there telling the admins that we are biased towards "Messi" for allowing it in the General section ? Please enlighten me.

lol Utd fans barely post in our section, let alone other posters on this forum. That section is dead. If it was as active as the Ars/Barc/Juv/RM sections then fair enough, you would have somewhat of a point.

Over here it would get more attention to those who missed out on it. I don't know what the big deal is?

karagounis's goal for fulham today surely deserved a thread (not biased)
