Arsenal 3 - 0 West Bromwich Albion: Postive goal difference!
Today was what you call a routine victory.
Arsenal played well without really over-exerting themselves, while West Brom didn't even bother turning up for the game. It is the sort of game that we've screwed up in the past, but tonight I don't think we ever looked like we weren't going to win the game.
The first half was notable for some of the best football Arsenal has played in recent times. The passing was very slick and they looked dangerous going forward. The goal was inevitable; Ramsey's excellent pass found Walcott, who really should have buried his opportunity. Fortunately, the ball found it's way to van Persie who tapped it in for his 11th of the season.
Arsenal maintained their dominance and doubled their lead through Thomas Vermaelen. The game was pretty much over from then on, even if 2-0 is a dangerous scoreline.
The second played out in a similar way, except Arsenal didn't really over-exert themselves and West Brom looked no better. With the game just dragging out, Arsenal popped-up with a well constructed move which was nicely finished off by Mikel Arteta.
So another win for The Arsenal, a clean sheet and positive goal difference. Couldn't really ask for more.
And that's all I've got to say, really.

Vermaelen epic defending and lovely goal.
Koscielny superb again. Ramsey passing just keeps getting better.
Jenkinson crossing is sensational.
Van Persie now has 35 goals in his last 47 games for Arsenal..........

unfortunately all the teams ahead of us got 3 pts as well. I suppose we can just focus on our wins. All the matches till we face City are winable... surely chelsea/liverpool/newcastle will drop few points by then.
Ohhh did i mention that our GD is finally above 0

We lost Chelsea (a) and West Brom (h) last season, so that's a positive to make up 6 points on last season's results.
Re: Arsenal 3 - 0 West Bromwich Albion: Postive goal difference!
It feels nice going in to the break with a big win. This gives few guys some rest and hope the special guest Diaby makes a come back.
