I think Lewy should've won 2021 Ballon d'Or.

Stats from club competitions + internationals during calender year 2021 (from Transfermarkt)

Robert Lewandowski: 62 goals + 9 assists in 4346 minutes = 1.47 goal/assist per 90

Erling Haaland: 44 goals + 15 assists in 3920 minutes = 1.35 goal/assist per 90

Kylian Mbappe: 45 goals + 25 assists in 5277 minutes = 1.19 goal/assist per 90

Lewandowski had an amazing 2021. I was never a huge fan of him (as my posting hisroty proves) but he's better than he ever was and the level he's been playing at in the last 2-3 years is heads and shoulders above anyone else, including Messi.

It's a ridiculous decision, purely ridiculous.

Watched the second game which was kind of interesting.

All in all though I don't have the time to watch them play textbook remis everyday over 6 hours

Yeah, the engine games have been more interesting for me the last two years. AI engines like Alpha Zero coming in insane tactics of beating brute force engines like Stockfish is something that's very entertaining. "Thorn pawn" is probably the most popular thing come out of it, and something I use whenever possible.
