They are basing it on the number of visits a club section (within Goal.com) gets visited. So, mostly English speakers and English speakers are more likely to support an English club, i.e. Americans, Indians, Nigerians etc.

These ratings are all BS. If you read ratiings in Latin America you get Boca as the most popular club in the world. LOL
