Pepe, Mou's mouthpiece, speaks
http://futbol.as.com/futbol/2012/12/26/primera/1356520569_064690.html
"There's a lot of pressure on Portuguese players in Spain."
Oh poor baby! lol. And it's complete bs btw. At Real Madrid, everyone has extreme pressure. And for all the other teams in La Liga, the pressure is the same for all non-Spanish players: You need to be better than the Spanish players because that's why they import you to begin with... they thought you provided better quality than what they could find domestically. That's how import-export works in all businesses... either lack of talent or shortage of manpower.
This is again a way for Mou to divert attention from play and make into a non-football issue.
This is really getting old and predictable.

Re: Pepe, Mou's mouthpiece, speaks
So I have the newspaper in front of me (which I bought because Pepe said he wanted to come back to Porto someday ), and after furiously searching for the quote you have there, I have come to the conclusion it doesn't exist.
There is one part that might resemble the 'quote' you have there though. At one point the interviewer asks Pepe if there is an unfair treatment of the portuguese by the spanish, and he replied it was because they were foreigners (not portuguese), and therefore it was harder for them.
Not sure how this has anything to do with Mourinho, but whatever suits you.
Football newspapers are so bad it's not even funny. Constantly making stuff up to sell more.

What are you talking about?
Because he won the Record football personality of the year.
That's not an AS interview.

Ah, so you were right. AS is not making stuff up, Record is. What a surprise. But I can assure you. I have the written text in front of me, and that quote does not exist.

yeah... this was a video interview. I think the written paper decided to not include it. Happens pretty often tbh. L'Equipe paper edition is never the exact same as the internet version. The raw material is the same... the editors are different.

I don't see what is wrong considiring I've seen so much anti-portugese stuff being thrown at Mou, it's incredible how stupid it is.
Le Sam for example feels rivalry towards the portugese and it comes off as very xenophobic (imo), even if he claims it's not.

Especially now when Spain is producing a ridiculous amount of talent + they tend to be very cheap..

What anti-portuguese stuff? Mou is hated in Spain not because he is portuguese but because of his personality, same with Cr7 and Pepe..

Re: Pepe, Mou's mouthpiece, speaks
Anti-Portuguese? Without trying to offend my friend Joe here, the Portuguese who come to Premiera Liga have this illusion that there is an obscene amount of xenophobism towards them whereas the fact is beside some banter and exceptions here and there, the fact is Spaniards couldn't even care less about the Iberian Rivalry. Its highly overblown by the Portuguese and frankly its quite hilarious.
Pepe feels that pressure simply because he is a sociopathic disgrace to football and frankly its funny coming from him given he isn't even Portuguese.
Josh and I only go as far as banter towards the Portuguese while the other side of the peninsula usually take it a little too far.

Racist abuse from the crowd whenever either of these three are present? There are other ways to insult someone other than "dirty portugese" or "kick mourinho and his portugese armada out of the club".
Not in the mood of explaining it further, becouse I'm sure you're aware of it.

Re: Pepe, Mou's mouthpiece, speaks
Honestly, everyone gets abused out there. The worst is Marcelo and he's Brazilian. Benz gets arab racial slurs thrown at him all the time, etc. There's nothing additional directed towards the Portuguese lol. Anyone who is not white gets racially attacked by rival fans that are non-diverse.
Of course, if you throw racial slurs towards PSG or OM players, their fans would probably kill you. They're fairly crazy lol.

Everyone is a racist in some way or another. I think foreign players in Spain shouldnt take seriously what the fans think of them or they could just move to a another club.

I dont watch alot of real madrid games but isnt the closest thing to racial abuse that Pepe, C.Ronaldo and Mou gets is the "ese portugues, hijo p*ta es" chants? Because if so, its not even racist. The only reason why they use "ese portugues" is because it rhymes with "puta es", it has nothing to do with racism or their "hatred" towards the portugese. If it wouldnt rhyme, they would have used something else..
