It is, this is Matri and his height
He can't create, hold up play, dribble or anything like that
but in the box he's a predator

Re: Cagliari vs Juventus
Asamoah [Ghanaian and proud of him]
, should have had a goal
also that opportunistic Vucinic goal
can't help but feel bad for Giovinco, that goal would have been his....
Llorente/Drogba/Villa and we would be set.....

Re: Cagliari vs Juventus
Juve cheating and fixing again I see
Down a goal, red card for Cagliari and penalty for Juve
After 90 minutes and 1-1 result,6 minutes of added time
Ref must have received a phone call from during halftime about Juve not getting a result
He didn't know,he couldn't see the game cause he was working

Re: Cagliari vs Juventus
Let me explain it to you in detail..
First off, Cagliari were diving, fouling and wasting time all over the place..Many Cagliari players received yellow cards a a result.
A non-existant penalty awarded to Cagliari in the 16th min of the game.
Two clear cut penalties denied for Juve one for Quags and the other one for Asamoah..
Red card was fair..Astori made atleast 5-6 fouls in the game and was lucky to have not been sent off earlier although he had an outstanding game up until the sending off.
Later on we were awarded a soft penalty and we failed to convert..
6 mins time were awarded as i've explained in my first line..Constant diving and time wasting..Besides they parked an airplane today.
Matri's 2nd goal the eventual winner was off a lucky deflection but we were fortunate in this instance because it looked like it hit Vidal's hand..
Finally the third goal was scored off a quick counter attack which ended the stubborn resistance of Cagliari.

Re: Cagliari vs Juventus
I'd rather this Vibe pussyh0le got his last 25% knocked off for trolling
Didn't watch the game but fark me...I was out with the Mrs following it from my phone and I was getting so wound up that we were behind! Champions always grind out results and keep going until the end...Juve = Champions! Fair play to Matri for putting away the chances...Vucinic

Re: Cagliari vs Juventus
NO i disagree..Subbing in Padoin over Isla is a MISTAKE,Padoin runs and works hard but its clear to me that he lacks real end product..Its clear which player has much more quality.Isla should be given more game time because on his day he can be WORLD CLASS.Hope he finds his feet at Juve in the 2nd half of the season.

No doubt about Isla's quality...he is sick! I hope he finds his top gear after the break coz when he does he will tear it up down the right!

Re: Cagliari vs Juventus
true but in this Juve players earn their spots and Padoin in the last 4 games has been amazing, dribbling past his opponents, passing, crossing ... so far Isla ahs been nothing more than average only on 1-2 games. Padoin deserves it and has to be recognized

With how Conte rotates it's very difficult for players to find good form and keep it
For example:
Isla had a few good appearances and a few bad ones, now we don't see him
Quagliarella scored a few goals, then made a mistake (his own fault), and we don't see him
Pogba did the same thing, had some good appearances and then boom, disappears
This rotation policy doesn't always produce results, but I don't mind it as long as Juventus is winning
Padoin or Isla, at the end of the day, it's three points and the difference is not made by either of them

Not exactly, PDC is made of glass, Padoin has not had any time on the left side of the field (and is rather right footed), and Caceres now has to spend more time in defence because of Chiellini's injury and Lucio's departure

You all forget Pepe who is mroe than suitable LWB cover for Asa

Padoin so far is better than ISla in that role Isla had far more chances than Padoin but Padoin used the time and the training so he deserved it and I am glad for him

Maybe, but he's another player who is really right footed as well and has not been healthy at all this season, so depending on him doesn't seem smart right now
I mean, there are a lot of players who COULD play as LWB for Juventus:
Asamoah
PDC
Caceres
Giaccherini
Padoin
Pepe
Isla
Lichtsteiner
Chiellini
In theory, all these players are capable
Just which one would do best? Or should a new player arrive?
About Padoin, I'm happy for him too
But he hasn't done anything spectacular and we both know it
Isla also just joined this team this season and he is coming off a brutal knee injury so it's a little unfair to judge him

I am not judging him , I wish he finds his form because he is beast I really like that guy but Padoin so far in my eyes deserved with his never cry and never give up spirit and warrior character.
Asamoah is coming back in March and will be available for UCL so until than I think Pepe + Giach + ISla + last option PDC are more than capable of covering for him

Agree there! I think if a forward especially starts scoring some goals then he needs to be given a run of games!
