Me? I've been nothing but a supporter for Arbeloa. Show me my posts where I've called him average and then we'll talk about it. Not sure what your problem is. All I did was say Arbeloa is a champ and Sagna isn't, now you're on some campaign against hypocrisy of Madrid fans.

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
arbeloa has been average at best all his career and has started the last 18 months at madrid because we movd rmos to cb due to carvalho's injury.... and he's been shat for the last 10 of them lol. Great person, a warrior... but a very average player.
Sagna was considered one of the top RBs in the world for 4 years. Only reason he's been challenged is that he had a long term injury... but he's returning to beast form.
How can you even compare sagna to arbeloa lol.

I'm just repping for my boy.
He'd do the same for any of us and like I said he's carried his own weight and has started on winning teams. You have to respect that
I'm not even comparing players here, just pointing out the benefits of good career decisions.

I just did and I seen Arsenal getting owned in their own back yard.
And stop with the passive aggressiveness.I am entitled to my own opinion and I am allowed to have an opinion on Arsenal players.

Not for me.Modern fullbacks have to be able to attack and that is something he has never been able to do.

Carvajal is a future stud and I can't wait till we buy him back. I bet Arbeloa feels the same way
As for Marcelo that's just typical He'll be back sooner rather than later though imo. He's just too damn talented to let 6 kgs stop him.

If Arsenal win 3-0 I pledge to have a firing squad of mates egg me (1 dozen) in women's panties and I will post it on the Arsenal Section. (I will reserve the right to wear a mask so as to protect my identity as I am a professional and would not be pleased with it going viral) That's a Pecca Promise! No sh^t!
(and yes - this is mostly excuse to wear panties) - But also because I am subject to sod's law and I am hopeful this pledge may somehow ( ) lead to it actually happening. Happy to take one for the team.

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
Okay, Bayern won, but can I just remind everyone that the ref sucked?
Gave out yellows like it was free candy on carnival for like 15 minutes, and none after, and before, even though there were many yellow-worthy fouls, while players like Schweinsteiger got them for nothing.
Blocked a great Bayern counter himself by cleverly blocking the pass, gave Arsenal the corner that wasn't to pull one back, abysmal display all in all.
And Wenger - WTF? Took off Podolski, his only decent player. Don't even know what to make of that. And what the hell was with Ribéry? Worst game in a while for him.
And pundits. I want to choke you.
How can anyone not praise Müller after this match? Assist and goal within 10 minutes of each other, still gets no praise because he doesn't do stepovers.
Everything about football culture annoys me.

Lahm was brilliant.
Arbeloa is a champion. What has Sagna ever achieved in his career?
Using a player's trophy cabinet to rate him is very inaccurate and not a good thing to base your argument on. Going by that logic, Torres is better than Totti, an a bunch of others who are actually 10x better than Torres.

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
Podo was quite invisable Viva in my opinion, rightly taken off.
Noone other than Wilshere did anything, but he was incredibly quite and got nothing out of Lahm.

He made an awkward cross for the goal which was all Kroos and capitalized on a major Szczesny error for his goal. If he is deserving special praise and mention, it is not exactly for his goal or assist.

The referee made some horrible decisions indeed, the non-corner leading to Arsenal's goal the worst.

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
Podolski was non-existant for most parts of the game apart from that goal.
Agreed on Mueller though. His movement caused problems for Arsenal's backline just about the entire game, you could see how Arsenal's CB's couldnt track Mueller's runs even on those throw-ins although it comes down to poor defending in the end.
You can see why he's benched Robben for good.

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
Arsenal defense wasn't doing too bad imo, despite the scoreline. Was quite unlucky conceding 2 goals in only 20 minutes from 50/50 attempt and first error from defending corner. But aside from the 3rd goal, which's brilliant move from Lahm, don't think they're conceding any clear chance and looked quite comfortable containing any attacking move from Bayern, which not a lot. I'm more disappointed with Arsenal offensive play, they had some good moves in 2nd half though and for a moment I thought it could be 2-2, though it's still bad result for them.

He was superb, nice game overall. I must admit I was quite disappointed in Walcott, I expected him to run at Van Buyten.
I always knew Bayern will beat Arsenal home and away but it's good to see them fight till the end.
Van Buyten played above expectation at 35 years of age with extremely slow pace, I guess Martinez and Basti covered nicely for him.
I'm anticipating the return leg in Germany...
Maybe Bayern will play...Gustavo-Martinez or Gustavo-Kroos or Martinez-Kroos.
They have a lot of option, even as Basti is suspended.
personally I will go with this line-up.
--------Neuer-----------
Lahm-DVB-Dante-Alaba
---Gustavo-Kroos-------
Robben--Muller---Ribery
------Mandzukic------
Gustavo-Kroos partnership has already be tested and it worked fine, I don't want to risk. Martinez-Gustavo or Martinez-Kroos, or even Tymo-Kroos, Tymo-Gustavo or Tymo-Martinez.
Lastly, you have to agree that Mandzukic has prove to become a better team player for Bayern than Gomez, it's not surprising he won his country best player ahead of 40MILLION Real Madrid Modric.

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
I predict Bayern will play the second leg like this:
At home, with Arsenal having to come out and fully attack, i see Bayern winning 2-0 without any real problems. Aggregate 5-1 for Bayern.
Also, Wilshere has a great future, he really does, but people are failing to see that he was only flashy with no real.product coming out of it. He dribbled alot of players, but his job is also to control the flow of the game, play through balls, etc, and he ignored that role and just went on long runs. While it looks nice, he shouldve stuck to his role, let Cazorla, Podolski, and Walcott make the runs, and played the passes. I think.this wouldve helped his team.more. He was still very good, theres no doubting that, but dribbling some players is not everything.
