As with benzema, it isnt fair what mou is doing. That is a legitimate injury and is the kind that is very easily aggravated.

Between these quotes and the quotes earlier, i really do feel Mourinho was talking about Benzema and probably implying that Benzema left the pitch "injured" because he was not up for it.

And now, he seems to be saying that Benzema will not be played for the next 2-3 matches and he is just giving the serious injury excuse. It seems like Mou thinks Benzema faked the injury last match and now punishing him by not playing him in the next few matches.

The pain doesn't matter on the ankle. It's the instability. If benz didn't do what he did, he could have an ankle bend nastily to the inside while running and he would fall.

a matter of opinion which is going to hurt the club!! Why would a striker like benzema want to stay on with us when he isnt being played even when we have no other recognized striker atm??this kind of treatment is not acceptable at all. Benz has been a real gentleman of class throughout all this crap that he's had to deal with. Had it been anyone else like ibra or ronaldo being treated like this we would have had a really ugly spat going on at the club

Except the ankle inflated and he has not been able to train because of the inflammation at all since the game. They finally got the inflammation out for today and he could play with a tape job tomorrow... and he offered to with the blessing of the medical staff.

It's not a knock ffs. It's a sprain. A sprain involves ligament tearing. There are so many ligaments in the ankle that, if you can get the inflammation out and stability is restored, you can use it again quickly.

You can play through a knock because it doesn't involve muscles or ligaments.

You should never, ever continue playing if you see inflammation and feel instability. You will make it worse. 100% guaranteed.
