When the insomnia talks

Sometimes its passion, sometimes its stubbornness, sometimes its love, and sometimes its just the insomnia.

We all had opinions that were proven horribly wrong, mention footballing opinions that you illogically had that were proven wrong.

I will start;

1- Barca will not dominate.
--- Obviously, I was wrong.
2- Ancellotti will not start with three anchors in midfield.
--- While Pirlo is not exactly an anchor, Gattusso and Ambro are sure are.
3- Argentina will go far in the 2006 WC. (maybe this was not that illogical)
--- Bekermann commits Hara-Kiri.

What was your fail opinion?

Hmm, this is a nice one

1) Barca's dominance would last 1 season: That turn out rather wrong

2) Diego would become a world beater: Nope

3) D'Allesandro would become a world beater: Neither that

4) My country would only qualify for the World Cup via satellite: Qualified in 2006

5) Spain would not anything beyond perennial underachievers title: Wrong there

Glad i didn't put any money on that one........

1. Bojan would star alongside Messi
2. Quaresma would be better than C. Ronaldo
3. Adriano would make ppl forget about Ronaldo
4. The Dutch would win the 08' Euros
5. Anderson would be the next Ronaldinho... but the EPL molded him into Edgar Davids

2. ditto = copa america 2003
3. ditto = wc 2006
4. ditto = ca 2007
5. ditto = wc 2010
6. ditto = ca 2011

Egypt, they are overrated. They haven't qualified for a wc in 20 years even though they had a very powerful squad that would make it into the quarterfinals. WC 2010 needed the strongest african team.

-Torres genuinely loved LFC (but such thing doesnt even exist in football, except in very few cases)

No I actually predicted that ibra would win cl in his first season with milan..

But you're right about Bonucci.

In comes the earthquake

1. Argentina will win the WC (since 1994)

2. Holland will win the WC (2010)

3. USSR will win the WC (1986 & 1990) or Euro (1988)

4. Liverpool will win EPL (since...I don't even recall)

5. Bangladesh will have a professional & organized league

6. Valencia will be a strong team

7. Ajax will be a strong team

Bonera will not be horrible this game.

I've been predicting that for the last 3-4 years... I mean the little guy takes some good knocks and I don't remember him missing a long period of time with any kind of serious injury?

Not saying I wish it upon him, just quite surprised he's been so lucky to avoid injury at all this far into his career.
