Poor Benitez, can't catch a break. The Bertrand move actually has a precedent in his time at Inter where he inexplicably played Stankovic on the wing against Atletico Madrid in the European Super Cup, however we quickly moved on from this mistake and when he settled, he had them playing incredibly attractive football, even if Milito suffered during his time at Inter. It should be noted that Di Matteo also used Bertrand on the wing, so this is hardly a unique piece of Benitez nonsense. If it can be forgiven Di Matteo, it should be given Benitez, he's been at the club for all of two games.

I would personally ignore the fans and stick with Benitez, however if I were to chase two coaches at the moment, they would be Guardiola and Montella, neither of whom will be available until the end of the season, and it's a stretch that Fiorentina would part with Vincenzo in any case. I wonder how Mourinho would react to Pep coaching his old club.

Whoever replaces Big Rafa is only going to warm the bench for 'Arry come next summer when QPR earn more points than Chelsea in the 2nd half of the season.

question is who can survive the role if CL and FA cup isnt enough.

rafa is just an interim and imo wont be appointed full time manager unless he wins the league or CL, and even then its iffy at best.

roman will keep the musical chairs game going until mourinho comes back or pep comes.

the latter i doubt happens but i think mourinho could come next summer.

Glad Arq and I aren't the only two in love Montella's work. Would love him at Liverpool or even replacing Mou in Madrid when he leaves.
