Gotze vs Kagawa

Who do you think has been better for dortmund as the number 10 gotze or kagawa?

Does kagawa even play for UTD anymore?

Kagawa's time at Dortmund was erratc.
His first season started great, he was scoring crazy, and was performing very well but than hit injury.
Second season he was better, I think he also was declared the player of the League(though Reus was more deserving).

Gotze too till now has not exactly been break through, although this season would be more promising for him.
Anyways I would say tie till now, and if Gotze stays fit there, than him for sure.

Kagawa.

Götze will become better though.

Gotze is a better 10 IMO.

Kagawa is a superior goalscorer and maybe better at through balls but Gotze does everything else better IMO.

This is like the Ozil and Cesc argument to me.... Cesc is a better goalscorer and arguably better at through balls but Ozil is better at everything else you expect from a 10.

WHat else would you expect from a 10?

Positional sense, link up, movement, decision making, ability to control the pace of a game etc etc.

Kgaawa was slightly better at getting himself into effective positions , Gotze is slightly better at manipulating the space around him.

Kagagwa was fantastic at link up and decision making but had less discernable influence over the game because as you said in point 3 , he didn't really control games.

Lol. Ozil is knackered half way through a game, Cesc is a better footballer. Cesc is a better passer. WOuld rather have Cesc as my #10 than Flopzil

Kagawa to this point has been better, but long term I would take Gotze just everything about him screams future world class footballer, future GOAT

Cesc is a better passer ? To be a 10 you need great ball control, dribbling, great link-up play and movement with and without the ball, great vision, pace. Ozil edges him in every department except finishing, stamina and strength. Shooting is debatable.

Please get back on topic. This is about Kagawa and Götze, not Fabregas and Ozil.

I really liked Kagawa a lot when he was in Dortmund, but right now Götze is stunning when he gets rolling (especially together with the Rolls Reus )
