Sons of Anarchy tv show.

I just heard about this show, going to start watching it soon. Has anyone here watched the show and what do you think of it?
Is it worth watching?

Overall the show has been pretty good, this season has been the best in a while as they have finally returned to the roots of the show which made it so good in the beginning.

Fantastic show. I'm not at all into biker clubs or that particular lifestyle, but this show certainly transcends that.

One of the best crime dramas in some time. It's like the Wire for bikers basically

I'm only like 6 episodes in, but its ok lol. I don't see the goatness that everyone talks about. Ill keep watching, but some of the acting is bad, and I usually don't give a shit about acting

That's all I'm gonna say about it

The Wire is the best show I have ever watched.. I can't see a show ever being better, it was almost perfect

seen 3-4 episodes but gave up, i dont intend getting back in watchin it anytime soon
it was decent i guess its just that atm im watching other type of tv shows dat interest me

one thing i liked was the chosen actors for each of the roles, well fitted

The Wire is great and one of my top 10 shows of all time, not quite top 5, but there isn't really anything "wrong" with the show. However, within it's own genre (Crime Drama/Social Commentary), there is nothing better.

For me the best show ever is the West Wing, because it made it okay to be smart on television in the modern era. David Simon has said as much as well, that the West Wing really opened up an entire genre that wouldn't of been possible before the show was created.

Show has been gold. Just finished the 2nd to the last episode and some real shit just went down. If you haven't watched this show, get on it lads...

Loved last episode.....sad this is the last season.

Almost finished the first season, but there's no main story yet. It's just mini missions so far.

It's the exact opposite mt the further it goes in, if I remember right it starts with some really small time stuff

Just marathon'd it in a month or so.

Goes in my top 10, maybe top 5. Loved it. Hamlet on motorcycles.

I agree with some that there was stiff acting early on and I didn't really like Charlie Hunnam as Jax but he definitely grew into the role and made it his own. Characters like Clay, Chibs, Tig, Bobby made it so worth watching.

The last two episodes were incredibly intense, the last one was fantastic even though I was sure I wouldn't like it.

Respect to Kurt Sutter for the creativity and dedication behind the show and even for his acting, he was superb as Otto.

Really surprised this thread is so dry but, then again, so was the Sopranos one when I bumped that and these shows have been over for years. Speaking of the Sopranos, tons of parallels with that and SoA.
