Re: Serie A Team of the Season so far
Handanovic
Campagnaro - Barzagli - Ogbonna
Cuadrado - Pizzaro - Hernanes - Asamoah
Lamela - Cavani/Cassano/Milito - El Sharaawy
There's a reason why Torino conceded only 10 goals this season (only 1 short of Juve) Ogs is currently beasting their defense, hugely underrated imo

Re: Serie A Team of the Season so far
I was at a friend's house and watched the Atalanta-Inter match on Bein sports. Atalanta is a good team, they attacked and attacked, never really heard of them before. A lot of Argentine players on both teams in that match, it looked like they were really going against each other.

Great line up, except it doesn't have any balance in centre midfield, both Pirlo and Hernanes are really slow and not ball winners by any means.

Forgot about Ogbonna, a big reason Torino are doing so well.

Re: Serie A Team of the Season so far
Torino aren't doing so well. They're 12th in the table, which while is not relegation zone, is not fantastic either. it's exactly where you'd expect a newly promoted team to be (newly promoted teams, especially the top 2, usually survive the next season and stay in the lower-mid table range).

He'll have his hands full on Monday up against Totti and co. Should be a good battle, best attack in the league vs one of the best defences.

Handanovic
Ogbonna-Rannochia-Bonucci
Zanetti Asamoah
Montolivo-Pirlo
Lamela Cuadrado
Jovetic-Cavani
Really hard to choose, the reason why Seria A always was,is and will be the best league in the world.

Bump.
I'll make a few changes to my original lineup.
Honorable mentions to Hamsik,Cavani,Hernanes,Marchisio etc.

Re: Serie A Team of the Season so far
I would take switch Barza and Chie and then replace Barza with Asamoah.
Midfield looks solid
I would switch the attack to 3 winger type with SES on the left and Lamela on the right, Klose as the striker
Consigli
De Sciglio-Chiellini-G.Rodriguez-Asamoah
Guarin-Pirlo-Borja Valero
Lamela---Klose---SES

Find it interesting that you've been slagging SES off all season in favor of Lamela and yet I don't see him in your XI

Re: Serie A Team of the Season so far
Totti has been reborn this season..Would be criminal not to have him in the best eleven in my opinion.Stats tell the story of his superb season so far too,i mean 6 goals and 6 assists ,thats very impressive.
Also Barzagli has been the best and the most consistent defender for the entire year really in Serie A in my opinion. He's been Juve's best defender for me but i am sure some disagree with me.

The bench would look like: Buffon, Cuadrado, Barzagli, Bonucci, Zanetti, Aquilani, Montolivo, Vidal, Asamoah, Lamela, Cavani, Vucinic.

I'm curious if this year's Seria A Team of the Season could rival the other leagues Best 11s.

If they were to match up player-by-player against those of the Premier League, La Liga, and Bundesliga? Possibly.
