I do think the general section could use a lad like yourself. Good discussions all round. One of the best Chelsea members

Re: The Blue Box
Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has admitted he made mistakes at Chelsea and that they were right to dismiss him after less than nine months in charge.
The London club were fifth in the Premier League and had lost their Champions League last-16 first leg 3-1 at Napoli when they sacked the Portuguese before going on to win the European Cup for the first time under caretaker coach Roberto Di Matteo.
"I think they could have give me the opportunity to continue. But I am fully aware that changing (the manager) was the only way to make an immediate impact on the results," Villas-Boas told France Football magazine on Tuesday.
"What we have been doing at Tottenham with my staff is a reaction to the mistakes we made at Chelsea," the 35-year-old coach added.
"We did not make everything wrong there but we could have done better ... (The sacking) did not change the way I see football but I recognise that I have thought a lot about it."
Took him long enough to realise that, didn't it? He's still a mug for the comments he made over the summer.

Re: The Blue Box
Regardless of what he said, surely he will have known deep down that he fecked up royally. I refuse to believe anyone as smart as he [clearly] is could be delusional and blind enough not to. Beyond his utterly woeful man-management, media tirades, and referee conspiracies, his decisions and tactical prowess were extremely suspect throughout; it truly appeared sometimes like he quite literally pulled Starting XI's out of a hat, and the majority of his substitutions were downright weird.
It's a wonder he's decided to change things up since!

Re: The Blue Box
Forgive me CFC, for I have sinned.
I haven't watched a Chelsea match proper since I moved to Australia. It was never my intention to stray from the path of the Lion but circumstances forced me to. All I ask for is your time and understanding till I get a better internet connection.

Re: The Blue Box
I don't see anything wrong with his comments now or over the summer.
He was promised a long term project with his side-kick and buddy Abra. The ride got a bit bumpy and at that point Abra left him on the side of the road to die. I would be disappointed with my bumpy driving, and maybe understand that he needed a more smooth driver, but hell I'd be bitter anyway. Especially when you have an ego the size of AVB's.
I'm biased but I think you should understand he would be bitter. That being said I hardly remember his comments in the summer, perhaps they were worse than I remember, but I doubt it.

Nah was just away for 3 weeks. Watched a few of our matches, really don't get it though as we're either playing really well or just shockingly. Sometimes both in the same game.

Your opinion is yours. I've got little conflict with what happened at Chelsea because without it we wouldn't have one of the best managers in the league at Tottenham. And of course I'll back him up lol
