Real Madrid lost 2-1 to Celta Vigo at the Bernabeu on 5th November 2006.

Real Madrid won 2-1 against Celta Vigo on 1st April 2007 away.

@Yohan you seem to be living on the forum . I wish Modric played on Sunday. But Ozil played well, may be next time when Ozil flops. Modric & Essien should start Celta Vigo match.

Galica being a typical Galician team will like to play a fast and attacking style of play while Madrid would be better to play Ramos at RB in order to give the increasingly developed Varane, who has barely been tested.

Midfield of mobility will be needed for Xabi so Modric and Khedira to provide just that to a deeper and more anchoring Alonso.

Callejon to provide his drifts inside the box while Higgy plays more towards the mid centro of the box to create space off the ball while CR drifts in through freedom on his left side.

Madrid should win this comfortably if they deal well with Juncal and Melendez.

Kaka - Higuain - Ronaldo

or even rest Ronaldo. Poor guys shoulder is sore. Callejon is good as a sub. He never played well when started.

Looks like Higuain picked up a serious injury, I guess it's time to try Callejon as a false 9 if Benzema does not recover from the injury he picked up against Spain.

agree, with nacho starting afcource, casado sucks.

Nacho offers nothing going forward, he's a natural centre back and as such he's limited when he goes forward. Celta Vigo at home is a match Real Madrid should have to score very early as they'd most likely park the bus, the longer the game stay goalless, the more confident they'll become, it's better to start this match with someone like Callejon or Di Maria at left back.

Castilla has one of the worst defencive records in la segunda, I'd not trust any of the back five just yet. Morata hasn't looked great in any of the matches I've seen him play for Castilla, I'd rather start Jese over him.

How about Callejon/Ronaldo at CF?
