Man, Marcelo Mattos has to be the worst player in this country. I really can't believe how awful he is.

We could of had all three points but I guess a draw was a fair result.

Gabigol.. supposed to be another one of their future cash cows. Has scored at will for their Youth teams and should be on the U-17 WC team.

Neymar cried at his final game against Flamengo Sad

btw for people who don't know.. that stadium was in Brasilia.. its one of the World Cup Stadiums.. also one of the biggest.

Notice Flamengo fans packed the stadium for its season opener.. I swear Santos has absolutely no fans.. especially when compared to a national brand such as O Mengao who are everywhere in Brazil not just Rio.

The stadium looked beautiful.

Yeah, but who the hell is gonna play there? They have no teams in the first division. I bet a lot of people made money off of that BS decision.

They'll probably have to keep offering money to teams from around the country to go there once in a while.

Yea, I expect to either be

A. an Old Relic or.
B. downsized since teams like Uberlandia and Brasiliense only pull like 900 spectators per game.

btw

Santos x Fla here in Brasília was the highest grossing game in Brazilian history. Most of the tickets were sold even before the Neymar stuff.

The best news is that Santos got only a little over 10% of the revenue, because they sold the rights to the DF federation for a low price expecting a much smaller public.

Rumours: Muricy is out, Mano in. Also Santos ex-coach Martelotte is now at Sport and he is interested in João Pedro, Durval and Marcos Assunção.

We're broke, dude. The closing of Engenhao really screwed us up and as a result the players salaries are one month behind. It's sad since we finally seem to have a coherent team that's capable of challenging for at least a Libertadores spot.

They closed the Engenhao?? lol, not gonna lie.. that place is and was a dump. One of the worst stadiums if not the worse in Brazil as a Serie A or serious venue.

Yeah, it was due to structural issues. It was and is a dump but it's a lot more profitable than playing in Volta Redonda.

What a bitchmove from the Brazilian football organziation to force Dante and Gustavo to miss the DFB Cup final and the tripple party for a stupid test match against England... wtf are they thniking? They are treating their national players like shit.

This is a historic season for Bayern Munich and Dante and Gustavo can not finish it properly.

Well, I fear they shot everyone in the knee by that:

- Dante + Gustavo miss the final and end-of-season celebration and will be pretty down and possibbly not up to par
- Brazil will likely not have them play with all of their heart because of that and possibly even consider not to select them for the NT
- Bayern are lacking their currently most important CB and thus will not be at full strength

And all of that could have been be avoided if they'd have been allowed to come just one day later to Brazil than the deadline they set up!

Our FA is incompetent and corrupt. If I were the coach I would allow them to play in the cup final and miss the England friendly.

That being said, why the hell would you schedule your cup final to coincide with a sanctioned FIFA date?

The real losers in this are Gustavo and Dante.

Well, good question. Because the DFB are not the brightest either? From what I heard they hoped that the other FAs would consider some exceptions or so. Jogi Löw for sure set up a German team without the players from Dortmund, Bayern and Real.

Does anybody know why we had Oscar on the right, Neymar in the middle, and Hulk on the left? Is that a new thing? Playing everybody out of position.
