Playing defensive with a 5-3-2 is the best way to stop that imo. We were playing well with a 5-3-2.

Yeh a 5-3-2 could work then. With 5 defenders it's easier to block shots or avoid getting outnumbered by the other teams attackers. Plus there's the midfielders tracking back.

We just need to counter-attack in that 5-3-2 a bit quicker and we're alright imo.

I'm at fault for screwing up some counters. Sometimes I wait to long to give a good pass, I end up losing the ball since I get pressed. Or I through ball right away and it gets too no one.

Also the midfielders shouldn't forget to track back and protect the defense, otherwise it's easier for the opposition's attackers to shoot etc.

Epoto since your pro is going to be relatively poor, try to increase his stats. The 2 best methods are:

And increase your stats from the EASFC catalogue. You can buy boosts from there.

Yeah I do generally track back, but when Tom plays I feel more comfortable jogging back rather then running since hes great at winning the ball back. And there are 5 defenders, so I don't worry much as in when we play with 4 at the back.
