Prince of Asturias Award for Sport

Sepp Blatter nominated a joint bid of Xavi-Iker for the 2012 award, it was up against the International Paralympic Committee. The price was given out in Hotel de la Reconquista in Oviedo which Xavi-Iker won, not that i know what it(the award) is lol
The jury found that both players "symbolize the values of friendship and companionship beyond the maximum of their team rivalry" and "sports behavior is a model for young people."

Xavi and Casillas are long time besties and they are credited for getting the BS resolved in the national team and helping them win the Euro's just gone by

I always thought Puyol was the one who deserved any sort of class award, probably the only one alongside Iniesta that i stand in Barca

This thread is pathetic. You guys can't even have a decent conversation about anything without attacking each other's clubs. Who cares if Barca have a picture of Xavi scoring against Madrid on their site? They are more than entitled to do so. It's Madrid's defenders' fault that the picture could even be taken.

Its obvious that it was manipulated because otherwise it would be physically impossible for Alves to do such spin without any sort of contact and also... you can clearly hear the contact

Hahaha, its like they are trying to avoid xavi by all means, and just give a 2 sec appearance.
Anyway, didnt, VDB drop the bomb ad say, "xavi is more important than the coach", when he rested him last friendly match.
I can only imagine the amount of butthurt caused by such a statement.
