Re: Transfer Rumours | Tactics | Who to buy/sell etc
Why to sell Callejon, Modric and Alonso ? I agree with Coentrao. But Modric wasn't bad since he came, he is played in the wrong position. Alonso won't be sold, he is Mourinho first team on the team-sheet and he will continue to be even next season. Why to sell Callejon ? He always gives 110% on the pitch, he is from Castilla, he is a madridista through and through. To win trophies you need players like him.
Sell : Kaka, Albiol, Carvalho, Coentrao, Di Maria
Buy : Gotze, Benat, Carjaval, Amorebieta(we were linked to him, perfect sub player)
Promote: Jese, Nacho(Marcelo sub)
Sign Alen Halilovic for Castilla, in 2 years he will be a starter for the first team.
-----------------------------------Casillas(jesus)---------------------------------
--Carjaval(arbeloa)--Pepe(varane)--Ramos(amorebieta)--Marcelo(nacho)--
--------------------------Modric(xabi)--Khedira(benat)---------------------------

When Ozil won't be able to play, Gotze or Modric will play AM.

Would Khedira be a B2B in that lineup or a pure DM?

He would still make some rides in the box, but he would be more defensive. That formation would be on paper, but on the pitch it can turn in a 4-1-3-2 in some circumstances with Khedira in front of the defence, or in 4-2-2-2 with Ronaldo making runs in the box from the wing.

Alonso is on decline now. Gotta upgrade. Never wanted Modric in the first place. He's not what we expected from him. Callejon is aight but you can't rely on him in big games. He's good coming off the bench but it seems like Mourinho really likes him. He does hustle I'll give u that.
I don't think Gotze will be willing to back up Ozil haha... He wants a starting job. Honestly i dont wanna see a team like Dortmund break up. Theyre sick. Gotta give di Maria more time. He's having a bad year but last 2 years he's been amazing. One of the best playmakers.
We should get Benat for sure but he's been linked with Chelsea this window. Javier Garcia would also work... He's from Castilla. Or if Athletic Bilbao sell Llorente, he might be heading back there (Benat).

About Callejon, to win titles, you need players who accept staying on the bench, and when he plays he always gives 110%.

Gonna change it. No one even plays that formation anymore.

So what if nobody plays that formation anymore ? Mourinho will leave in the summer even if he wins UCL. 4-2-2-2 or 4-2-3-1 with Gotze Ronaldo and Ozil is actually the same, considering that one of Ozil and Gotze will always be on the wings.

Re: Transfer Rumours | Tactics | Who to buy/sell etc
Anzhi Makhachkala remain interested in signing Kaka from Real Madrid.
The wealthy Russian Premier League side have been suitors of the Brazilian at points over the last 12 months, but a deal has not been done.
Negotiations have been held between Real Madrid and Kaka’s former club AC Milan during the current transfer window, with a view to the 30-year-old returning to the Rossoneri.
But the financial implications of signing Kaka make the transfer a complex one and there is much room for Anzhi Makhachkala to become involved.
"Kaka has long been on the agenda of Anzhi", Russian agent Schumi Babaev told Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo.
"There have been preliminary talks with Real Madrid, but no official talks yet."
Kaka is keen to move on from Real Madrid to get his career back on track with regular first team football; the midfielder’s ultimate goal is to win a place in Brazil’s 2014 World Cup squad.
The Brazilian’s preferred destination is Milan, a place he feels comfortable, but should moving to the San Siro prove to be impossible during the current transfer window, Anzhi Makhachkala may become an attractive option.

Re: Transfer Rumours | Tactics | Who to buy/sell etc
Real Madrid were reportedly on the verge of signing Osasuna goalkeeper, Andrés Fernández following the injury to regular starter Iker Casillas, but Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho opted to go with former Sevilla and Real Madrid Castilla keeper, Diego Lopez.
According to Spanish sports daily, Marca, Real Madrid were in negotiations to sign Fernández and even reached an agreement for the 26-year-old to make the move to the Santiago Bernabeu, but the Portuguese manager put a halt to things before the two clubs could begin negotiating terms.
The report goes on to say that Mourinho was looking for two specific qualities in his goalkeeper; he had to be tall and have a lot of experience.
While Fernández met the first requirement, standing at 1.80m, he did not meet the second criteria, as he has only been a starting goalkeeper for a few years.
Mourinho specifically requested the services of Diego Lopez, who grew up in the system, has Champions League and domestic success and experience with Osasuna, and came at a relatively inexpensive price.
Fernández has been heavily linked with Real Madrid’s ‘El Clasico’ rivals, Barcelona who see the keeper as an eventual replacement to the departing Victor Valdes.

Re: Transfer Rumours | Tactics | Who to buy/sell etc
Spanish source Sport claim that Napoli striker Edinson Cavani has agreed a deal to join Real Madrid.
The Uruguayan goal machine’s agent Pierpaolo Triulzi and Bernabeu club president Florentino Perez have been locked in talks about a move with the two parties discussing a €50m deal that they hope Napoli will be amenable to.
Cavani is the subject of a €63m release clause but the intention is for the short-fall between the two valuations to be made up with the inclusion of a Real Madrid player in part-exchange.

Re: Transfer Rumours | Tactics | Who to buy/sell etc
Real Madrid were offered the chance to sign Santi Cazorla and Isco from Malaga for a fee of €35M a little more than a year ago – but Jose Mourinho did not want to do the deal.
According to Spanish daily El Confidencial, Malaga, beset by financial concerns, contacted Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to offer Los Blancos the chance to buy both Cazorla and Isco for a total fee of €35M.
Malaga were keen to raise money and felt Real Madrid could be willing to buy both players for a reasonable set sum.
Perez consulted Mourinho over whether to go ahead and make the purchase, but the Portuguese tactician preferred not to push ahead to secure the pair, with his eyes firmly set on snapping up Luka Modric from Tottenham Hotspur, which Real Madrid duly did last summer.
Cazorla subsequently moved on to English Premier League giants Arsenal in the summer transfer window, as Mourinho captured Modric.

Re: Transfer Rumours | Tactics | Who to buy/sell etc
Why are we never linked with abate, i mean he is one of very few good fullback's left around, he is linked with teams from Russia etc. Why not us.
He is a fast fullback in the mold of coentrao, very good defensively as far as fullbacks are known too these days. according to who scored, he has the 0.3 rate of getting dribbled by other players, one of the best in fullbacks in the whole whoscored website.
I am not saying we should sign carvajal next season, infact we should, but we should also sign abate, it will be like we can choose between them like we currently choose between marcelo and coentrao depending on the type of games.
It will also make varane and other cb's look better as the slow arbeloa that always missing will no longer be there.

As reported by 'El Economist', the talented German was placed on top of the shopping list from the 'Merengues': The operation, however, promises to be difficult for the contract between the player at Borussia Dortmund and competition of the Bavarians.

Re: Transfer Rumours | Tactics | Who to buy/sell etc
Seems Flo has four signings ready for the summer.
1) Isco or Silva
2) Cavani (There are Falcao rumours but I doubt that happens)
3) Bale.
4) Carvajal
All five are fantastic players so I'm not complaining. It'll be interesting to see who goes though. Seems Benzema, Di Maria, Kaka, could be in the firing line. I doubt we'll sell both our strikers and Benzema is more likely to leave imo.
Should be interesting. Especially considering the manager situation.
Also the club has given Jose Rodriguez a professional contract that sees him tied till 2017. Very happy about that one.

Nah. Bale just doesn't have that special something that players like Gotze, Neymar, Isco etc do. Plus Ronaldo was better than Bale when we signed him. In fact I prefer Di Maria over Bale.

I'd love to have Bale, he's fast developing into a complete player, he's a bit like a left footed Ronaldo. With him in the setup Ronaldo can move to the centre if need be, he could also play on the right. The price must be right though, nothing over £30 million.

you guys are insane if you think higs stays to rotate with cavani or sit on the bench at this point in his career, he was ready to leave last season as it is, both forwards or latest buy wont produce unless they are guaranteed starter and wont settle for less next season enough delusion of wc back up that doesn't work anymore

Benz is more likely to leave imo, he wants the team to be centered around him and at RM it's just not possible, he don't want to be a 9 and we need one.

You paid the same club something like £33m for Modric who was older than Bale and seemed to desperately want out. I'd be very surprised if you got Bale for under £40m.

there is absolutely no need for bale. he would be a coentrao-esque transfer. even more ridiculous id say, because he would be more expensive and even less needed.
