IIRC we had an agreement with Vitesse when we loaned out Matic that we will visit them for a Pre-Season friendly this summer.

And with us sharing a close relationship with that club, and tickets already sold and all, ChelseaFC just stated on their website that it is canceled with no reason as to why.

The Guardian believes that it is the work of AVB who believes that the team will not be ready as the players will have to be present next monday and that pre season friendly is schedules just 5 days later.

Not only that; AVB let Paul Clement go, the only staff member to live through every manager in the Roman Era.

Why am I bringing this up? I think he's been given a lot of power and authority rather than a "First Team Coach" that Ancelotti was.

As a result, I think we'll have very interesting transfers this time. But whatever the case, I think he'll do what he thinks is right and ultimately, beneficial for the club.

Good to see if he has, as long as he has some power and does well I can see him around for a long time.

Its good and bad at the same time.. we never know when Abra will reach his limit over the coach bossing him..//

I don't think AVB is bossing him, he'd have to convince Roman to fire those people IMO.
