lol @Ramalho, he thinks barcelona isnt as tactic savy as we are? lol, they are an even more challenging side to fit into that ours. The requirements for player to get involved in attack and defense are ridiculous.

If he thinks neymar will get a fee ride in a european team, then he should keep him in brazil, modern football across europe is asking players to be involved on both end of the pitch.

the gameplan for milan is pack the midfield with defensive-minded or hardworking players, knock it up to one of the forwards, and let them try to work some magic

Very good point it would be perfect for Neymar.

But with Ibra and Pato already there and Ganso looking almost certain to join i dont see a place for him, unless Milan use Ganso in midfield alongside 2 defensive minded midfielders and play Neymar alongside Pato and Ibra otherwise i dont see a place for him.

here is what muricy ramalho, our coach (not president), said about neymar's possibilties difficulties at RM:

"Mourinho focuses a lot on tactical work and he does not like letting the rivals play, I don't know if he [Neymar] will have freedom at Madrid," Ramalho told Esporte Interactivo.

Some people in the Madrid section suggested that we would add Kaka to the deal (sort of a swap with cash maybe). Doubt that is true then, seems unlikely that a coach would say something like that about a player he could possibly get (make him sound like a failure). More than anything, they will blow up his name/ legendetc. for commercial benefit in Brazil (he will return as a hero).

I don't think he would be guaranteed a starting position at Barca or Madrid but he definitely would at Chelsea. I'd even say he would be the star of our attack which he also wouldn't be at those two clubs and Villas Boas also tends to play with inverted wingers (Hulk/Valera) which would be perfect for Neymar.

Premier League physicality is also massively overrated IMO. You're telling me Messi wouldn't still be the best player in the World if City bought tomorrow?

Anyway even Pele & the other muppets successfully convince him (again) he's not good enough for the Premier League I think he should stay at Santos for at least another season.

neymar tries that kind of stuff in the premier league and he'll be in for a world of pain

that and the fact that he would have no freedom to play here, which is untrue. we went gorilla tactics on barcelona, but that's not how we usually play.

If he comes to Madrid, Ronaldo would move to CF i bet... about the only player he'd do it for would be someone of Neymar's caliber. Other option is to move either Neymar or CR7 to the right wing and bench Di Maria.

If CR7 goes to CF, your guess is as good as mine as to how in the world Higuain and Benzema stay. Ronaldo does not sit out any minutes if he can help it, let alone games.

Just more drama Madrid-style.

What Ramalho meant is that Neymar is just going to be one more player at RM, whereas at Santos he is a legend. At RM he'll be C. Ronaldo's support, while in Santos he is The Man. When he says Neymar needs some freedom, it's because he needs to move around the pitch, and do his stuff. Of course he can come back and mark, and he can also learn to be better at it.

People who say he wouldn't fit in Barcelona's style should watch him more times.. he could definitely be a starter there... the only problem with him might be some selfish attitude at times, but he's been getting better, and with the right, willing mentor, that problem can be solved..

I agree with our coach: Neymar should stay at Santos until the 2014 WC.

there's no way that's happening rsinatra. If someone is willing to pay the 45 million, Neymar wants to go... he was already swooning regarding Chelsea earlier in the season. He's looking for a new challenge and to establish himself as one of the best in the world. With all due respect to the Brazilian domestic league, it's not going to happen there. 60's, 70s and 80s, Santos was probably the best club in the world. But when Europe opened up it's allotment of internationals, that all changed.

He only said it would be great playing with lampard,drogba etc,but by no means did he say he wanted to move,quite the contrary

The Neymar wouldn't succeed at the Premier League predictions are false. Look at Arsenal.

Yeah, maybe he'd need to bulk up a little but that's normal since at that age most guys are very skinny. He would completely rape most PL defenses, more so if complemented by another technical player. Say you play him with Suarez or Nasri.

I perfectly agree with you, Neymar should wait a bit longer before moving. I just dont think he should stay there till 2014, he needs top level competition to nurture his talent, not a slap on the brazilian league but imo he needs one more season, a chance to win it all again before moving. If he stays too long, he will stagnate at some point.

Penarol is very epl-ish,you could see in the final how he never did a single trick,he just played normally(like CR in Madrid lately)

Santos isn't the powerhouse it was in the Pele days, anyways. Sure, it's a great club but no ambitious player would spend his best years there. Especially not the "Next Big Thing". He would be mocked for staying (more than 1 season).

Peñarol aren't exactly the epitome of football, though... He would get much better support and cover in the big European clubs, just by being surrounded by better players.

I am pretty sure Santos president is lying and i dont think any club has meet Neymar buyout clause. Seriously he is just trying to inflate his price, similar to Zamp who claims Barca, Chelsea, and Real Madrid all interested in Pastore.

Its 45M,he cant ask more than that since its the buyout clause in the contract.that price is the max he can get

No,not all of those clubs would pay all of it,why?Because i saw the interview and he said 2 would be able to do so,not all 5.I posted this a week ago in the RM transfer rumors,not sure why everyone took a week to take notice of these statements

Well then if it is true about only Real Madrid and Chelsea being able to pay it I don't think the coach should go on about Neymar should go to Barca and create speculation for no reason.
