Serie A 2012/2013: Juventus F.C vs Parma F.c

Good first match. The problem for him is that juve play team play and not depend on 1 player like gio/ibra/ronaldo/biabiany..

I watched as much of the match as I can and Juve typically starting slow as Italians do in the early season looked rusty and lacked some chemistry on ends. Understandable considering they lack Conte's presence and new players are adjusting to what is a complex and technical system to play.

I was discussing with Surag on who was the MOTM as his opinion understandably was Asamoah. I personally felt it was Pirlo but as a whole I've decided it had to be Marchisio. Pirlo despite dictating the play looked a bit off at times but Marchisio was a tremendous presence with his intelligent play and displays of his technical ability. He in the end made the difference as it reminded me of a classical Steven Gerrard performance. Should just be given the armband.

Marchisio has grown exponentially as a player especially after his experience in Poland and Ukraine this summer. He is quality on the ball, and always tracks back when he is off it. He is also in very good physical condition and can run for miles. Great performance from him.

Asa was great. But giovinco wasnt like i expected. Since we wanted him so much i started to think that he could replace del piero. But he cant he hasnt got the class of ADP . I recognised him when he was trying to immitate del piero but he failed. To be honest we need a world class striker.
