oh cmon, clear as day that he was onside!! draw a parallel line with the lines in the grass and you'll see he's definetely onside!
also, in cases like this the benefit of the doubt is supposed to be given in the strikers favour by rule of thumb so this is a complete robbery of valencia!!

best part is that they only showed one replay because they "didn't have good camera angles" (commentator's words, not mine) but they kept playing di maria's penalty shout over and over and over again

There's still some difficulty there since offside's are measured by parts of the body a player is legally accepted to play the ball with.
So the fact that Ramos feet seem to be ahead of Soldado's (not sure tho) is not essentially the defining factor here since Ramos' right foot is the part of his body furthest forward and Soldado's are behind the rest of his body.
The other thing is you have to go back to the moment the ball was played, in this image it's already in play and Ramos has likely moved.
Honestly I don't know, if you want to say he's not offside that's fine honestly, but I would love if someone could provide a better angle and Picture. Flat view + at the time of the ball being played if you got it.

clearly, not a single camera in the entire *bleep* stadium had the last defender in its view... this pisses me off the most, the blatant media manipulation

but if it was offside then the last defender had some real quick reaction times to play him offside then catch up to him before the ball reached the valencia player. it is possible but not likely, so probably onside

even if you look at the photo and video Che has provided! in the highlight soldado is seen moving to the side and off the shoulder of the defender right when the pass is made while the photo shows his position a split second later with him several yards further forward but still not offside compared to ramos's body who has had to turn and start moving back to track his run!
basic logic regarding sprint acceleration vs a turn and acceleration would suggest that to be in that position in the photo that soldado would have had to started further up the field than ramos for them to be neck-on-neck like that!
however being in madrid that 'offside' was always going to be given unfortunately! valencia is not the first team to be denied like that Che and they wont be the last either!

There's no take where you can see Soldado and Tino Costa making the pass at the same time.

i don't know how many mistake referee did in favor of Madrid last season.Yet we start season with another mistake.something really wrong here..and mistake will continue through out
the whole season in favor of Madrid i am sure of it.where is super_floren with his so called funny conspiracy theory now..can not see him but i am sure he will be back as soon as Barca got some thing from referee mistake.

Who said that makes it ok? Rubbish like this happens constantly. I personally think referees are allowed too much lienancy and are overprotected but the fact of the matter is decisions like this happen all the time both for and against clubs. It just usually happens to be in favor of the bigger clubs e.g Real, Barca, Manchester.
