If he is injured for a long time, City could maybe buy another striker. Cavani or someone.

Seems he'll be out for about three weeks.
Unlucky.

Tevez, Aguero and Dzeko can all have their way with Carragher though
Also i don't know why people said he would be injured for so long....
It was reported during the game that the City staff were confident of weeks rather than months and Mancini was confident of this too.
Or were people just hoping ?

They should get a replacement in Rickie Lambert
But I don't think Aguero is badly injured.

United fans getting cocky even before their first match of the season, I expect City to win both legs of the derby again this season, and win the league in the end with or without Aguero, they have the more balanced side.

I know really. I can't think of a more likable player then Kun and some United fans are praying he's out for the season and then the next breath saying there going to win the EPL.
You should want to face your rivals at full strength so there's no excuses. It sounds to me some people are not as confident in winning the league as they portray themselves to be.

City's emergence clearly rattled them, pathetic tbh.
Anyway it's not serious he won't even be out for a month matter about a season.

Re: How much Aguero season ending injury will hurt City?
It won't be good for them, that's for sure. He's one of their few, uh... "mentally stable" attackers
Then again I'm sure Tevez and Mario both got a harsh talking to, just with some people you never know if they will actually listen.
Personally I'm not going to celebrate it like a idiot, being happy about a bad injury is just disgusting. Hope he recovers soon.

Re: How much Aguero season ending injury will hurt City?
Season ending...? Really? L'equipe may be generally reliable, but how on earth would they have better information than the Telegraph and the Guardian on this particular issue. By the way, both of those sources are reporting that it's either uncertain as of yet, or uncertain but likely close to 3 or 4 weeks.
I won't lie, I'm glad that he won't be facing our improvised back-line next week, but I'm really sorry to see him injured. He's a good player with a good attitude, and the Premier League is better when he is playing. He is certainly an important player for City, but I think Balotelli, Tevez and Dzeko (if he stays) can make up for Aguero's goal scoring. This shouldn't affect any potential deal for Adebayor or Roque Santa Cruz. Mancini's already came out and said that they won't be replacing Aguero in the squad. Talk about ostracized...

being happy aguero could be seriously injured is as bad a karma as you could get right after signing rvp. expect a season long injury for him tomorrow too

Re: How much Aguero season ending injury will hurt City?
Aguero will probably end up missing only a month, he suspects the injury isn't as bad as he thought it would be. Manchester City wouldn't struggle that much, without his presence. The only time they would ever struggle is if Kompany was to receive an injury that would rule him out for a few games. Like we seen last season, they don't have adequate cover for him, and they generally tend to struggle.
