Here's the medal table, btw:

Your reasoning would make more sense if you were from the U.S tbh

this is what i dont get, losing on purpose and getting in the right placement for favourable matchup happens all the time in other sports... but badminton gets punished, altho it was wayyyyyyyyy too blatant, but nature is the same, no?
not really saying spain definitely lost on purpose, but there would be suspicions, and it definitely happens in nba and nhl etc.
The nature is the same, but it's harder to prove in some cases. In team sports, a team can throw a match by starting all the substitutes, making a couple of mistakes or being lax in the last half/quarter of the match. All these things are common in sports and aren't wrong or suspect by themselves, so it's difficult to prove that they were deliberate, even though it's noticeable for the fans.
As for the badminton players, they were beyond acceptable serving into the net repeated times, missing easy balls and commiting amauterish errors to the point of getting booed and warned by the referees lol and they still persisted with the whole thing.

ya... i watched the replay for that game, it was ridiculous... i feel shameful for the players... they could at least made it more interesting... definitely deserved the boot. i just didnt know what to think about similar actions in other sports. good points tho, thanks for the comment

I Like Usain Bolt though beacuse he is most toweringly arrogant and endlessly cocky.
(all positive there^^^)
But i can't agree that Jamaican's rule.

after seeing that video of bolt stopping an interview for usa national anthem, i have alot more respect for bolt, and like bolt said, those comments from lewis are pure garbage, attention seeking, deserved all came his way.

'Fraid not. Argentina-USA might as well be the gold medal game.

Re: 2012 Summer Olympics
After our guys raped the British at field hockey, our women defended their title as Olympic winners and won the gold medal today.

I prefer dressage, ping pong, rifle shooting and sailing over racewalking any day. That is just retarded. Men walking around like they shit themselves.
