A 24/7 chat

Why can't the chat be on all the time? What's the worst that could happen?

It would just be casual chat in in the chatbox. Maybe the chat can be on another tab, that way people won't see the chatbox as soon they're on the forum.

If anyones breaking any rules then I'm sure there's a chatbox script in the admin panel. Also people can just print screen anyone who breaks rules and send the print screen to an admin/mod.

On the forum everything's spread out into sections, on chat you can just chat casually.

Yeah, the Chat ruined the matchday commentary section.

I think chat's better than the matchday commentary section. It's easier to talk about what's happening every second during a match.

Matchday commentary no longer exists for that reason.

well you could create a chat for a hour or so each day no matter if there are games being played or not
just for the direct communication of the members who want to say things that would not post in a random thread
that being said would also be temporary just for the summer or so
