France and Turkey did not qualify so Varane and Sahin are out, and the Spanish list just came in Joselu and Jese were not included, which is reasonable since they were only playing in segunda b last season. Jese though has been called up to the U19 with Derek from Real Madrid C.

Spain U19 won their first game of the group stage against Greece, Jese and Derik scored both goals. Jese is continuing his good form with the national team.

Marcelo will participate in the London 2012 Olympic Games with Brazil. He previously won the Bronze Medal in Beijing 2008 and will become the first Real Madrid player to participate in two editions of the Olympics.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Di Maria participated in the 2004 and 2008 Olympics, respectively. Both of them and Marcelo also managed to score goals in the Games. Di Maria won the Gold Medal with Argentina, netting the winner against Nigeria in the final.
