I remember Crimson advocating Ramos's cause for best defender in Europe as well... hmmm good times.

As for Pepe he isn't awful just lacks very basic technical skills a cb should have, nor does he have the tactical aptitude for the position.

Mou will play him Dm next leg , just watch.

He is awful. He would be on United's bench. I have never rated him and Ramos and I never will. Both are terrible defenders. pepe is remidns me of cannavaro. Using pure guesswork to defend and has the anticipation skills of a blind chubacubra

Pepe's simply haphazard and error prone. Wouldn't mind if we sold him this Summer. Unless of course he wants play as a backup.

Not sure but b4 he came to Real, they struggled for a long long time without a relaly good CB... Cannavaro even struggled, but also had to do with their style back then.... I remember hearing a lot of praise for Pepe at the start of this time at Real many saying hes the guy that started solving their defense issue Razz

Although I didnt watch Real then....
