M99 wrote:Agree with MT somewhat. Most ties we have seen recently. My predictions.
PSG to convincingly win first leg. Sportsczy will get banned for gratuitous celebration (which involves calling Gil a bellend). Chelsea will turn the tie around with ease in the second leg. Sportsczy's ban lifted but no one will notice.
Madrid to ROFLstomp Schalke. RWO will gleefully bump Di Matteo sack watch thread only to be attacked by Shed and Arq. RWO bans Casciavit for agreeing with Shed. Ronaldo will get 3 penalties in the two matches which will prompt jiopsi to makes Scandal thread number 32653463 and he era adjustment stat 2.0 (groundbreaking new version adds negative points for dives made by Portugese players, penaldos and adds wide assists for Argentines who are under 5 feet) for the one week difference between the Barca game and Madrid game will prove that Messi's stats are higher than Ronaldo.
Barca vs Man City, BarcaWinsLol. Messi gets 10 on WhoScored.com while we can all hear Nasir typing away his rant on Yaya being outpaced by Mascherano from the Emptihad stands through our TV.
Monaco vs Arsenal. Monaco wins first leg. Claude vs Ty TLC match outside the stadium. Dnmac is triumphant, saying he was right about Wilshere all along. Arsenal wins 2nd leg. ArsenalFanTV post match gets 0 views. RG praises Wilshere and compares his injury history with Riquelme. Dnmac laughs at RG, saying he's deluded to think Wilshere is better than Riquelme.
BVB vs Juventus. Dortmund wins both legs. Milan fans have a laugh while Juve fans all laugh at the irony of Milan fans laughing at CL teams. We all laugh. Except for Inter fans. Cus Inter is shit. The end.
Bayern Munich vs Shakhtar Dontesk. Bayern convincingly wins. Neuer does a tackle on the halfway line which infuriates Valkyrja for some reason who says that Neuer is not the best keeper in the world as De Gea, Buffon and Marcelo were all better than him this season.
FC Porto vs FC Basel. Mole watches this game over all other games. RWO is secretly laughing at the fact that the whole forum will look like fools when Basel wins. Basel loses.
Atletico Madrid vs Bayer Neverkusen. Neverkusen gonna Neverksuen. Atletico wins while somehow giving RKOs to all 11 players of Neverkusen #thuglife

Katy Perry wrote:Previously on AMC's Calcio Saga...
This is the argentinian footballer Maxi Lopez and his wife Wanda Nara
This is Mauro Icardi (right) asking an autograph to his football idol Maxi Lopez
Some years later, in the 12/13 season their path come across again and this time Icardi gets his life-dream come true, he gets to play in the same team of his idol Maxi Lopez at Sampdoria.
They get along very well and are always together when training.
Maxi Lopez is Sampdoria's undisputed starting striker while Icardi is his understudy back-up. This until Maxi Lopez gets injured.
It's time for Icardi's first appearance, but it's the worst time possible. Sampdoria are on a 7 matches losing streaks and they're playing against the in-form local rivals Genoa in a derby that both teams's supporters were looking forward to for the whole year. Icardi plays a wonderful match propitiating an own goal and scoring one by himself.
Maxi Lopez is about to return from the injury so that Samp's match against Juve at the Juventus Stadium is going to be the last for Icardi. The match starts terribly, Juventus is winning 1-0, Samp gets one man sent off and hardly gets to touch the ball. However in the second half Icardi steps up and scores two goals to Buffon out of nowhere and the game ends 1-2 for Samp.
So Icardi benches Maxi for the rest of the season and ends it with a 10 goals tally, with the tenth being another goal to Juve and to Buffon.
In the 13/14 they split up. Maxi Lopez's loan at Samp ends and returns to Catania and Icardi is requested by every top team in Italy and joins Inter but they still get in touch and have dinner together with each other's family.
Maxi's season is horrible, Catania is last with close to none hopes of escaping relegations and he's being benched, while Icardi scores another decisive goal to Juventus and Buffon
Apparently Icardi overtook Maxi's place on and off the pitch as Wanda replaces Maxi with his former friend and teammate and fanboy Icardi
Maxi Lopez is furious, he needs to take action. On the 2014 winter transfer window deadline he decides to return to Samp, the place where it all started, looking forward to get his revenge on the pitch in the Samp-Inter match that is going to take place in the next february.
So the day of Samp-Inter has come and the match is about to start, the players just need to do the usual handshakes, but what happens? Maxi does a Wayne Bridge on him and refuses to shake his hand!
Icardi scores the 1-0 and celebrates taunting his former fans
Maxi Lopez feels taunted too and in need to balance things out, so when the referee awards Sampdoria a penalty, he eradicates the ball from the designated PK taker. He misses it.
Then Maxi out of sheer anger throw himself in a horrible tackle against Icardi and gets redcarded. The match ends 4-0 for Inter with Icardi scoring another
The 2014 ends terribly for Maxi. He loses his starting spot again to Okaka, a Fulham and Serie B flop at Sampdoria, joins Chievo and loses his starting spot there as well. Meanwhile Icardi marries Wanda and posts picture on twitter with Maxi's kids. He asks them to call him "dad" as well.
January 2015, Maxi Lopez knows that he can't take his revenge on Icardi sitting on Chievo's bench, so he decides to join Torino as they play against Inter in the same month. He started his career at Torino well scoring the 3-2 winner against Cesena away.
Meanwhile Icardi starts the 2015 with the umpteenth goal to Juventus and Buffon
This is Alena Seredova, Buffon's ex wife. Apparently they split up because Gigi wasn't the only Buffon getting repeatedly penetrated by Icardi.
Buffon and Maxi aren't the only victims here, many other husbands have complained about their's wife extramarital intercourses with Icardi to the point that here in Italy we have this say:
Se tua moglie torna a casa tardi, se la bomba Mauro Icardi
(if your wife comes home late, she's fornicating with Mauro Icardi)
Saturday 24th january there's going to be Inter VS Torino, Maxi VS Icardi. Who will prevail this time?

Iniesta is arguably the clutchest player in the history of football.
Basketball had Jordan,F1 had Schumacher, tennis has Nadal and Serena and football has Iniesta.
And yet now,he is a bystander in most big games.I wonder whose fault that is.
His own fault because without Xavi holding his hand he's useless. Can't control games on his own as a CM, doesn't create enough in the final third as an AM. Iniesta is arguably the most prominent sideshow assistant water carrier in the history of football.
Batman had Robin, Sherlock Holmes had Watson, Al Bundy had Peggy, Tarzan had Jane and Xavi had Iniesta.

Robinho Golden Ball/Boot and champion of CA07 without any of those players.farfan wrote:Robinho was exactly the same ?
minus the fact that he played next to the likes of Kaka , Juninho ,Adriano , Ronaldinho of course
Robinho was never the focal point of Brazil nor did he ever carry the whole team on his shoulders like Neymar has been doing for the last 3 years .
lol at the guy who fapped to messi scoring against the likes of iran in a star studded team dismissing Neymar's undeniable contribution to his NT .

He had an ACL injury lol, his knees are clearly *bleep* now you can just see it in the way he moves.
ACL is a bitch to recover from, most players are never the same again.

+1 Mole
As someone who suffered an ACL injury, football was harder to play afterwards, i couldn't use the same muscle movements not because i didn't want to, but because the muscle is denying me the ability to do so, its like the muscle is a mind of its own, it doesn't want to suffer the same pain again.

you're saying this like it contradicts the notion that Falcao's decline might be attributed to injury .
athletes usually recover better when they're younger .
