What is Dani Alves's best game ever in a Barca shirt?

Over the past 4 years, which game has he excelled in the most and in the most important fashion?

He has played many good games, but in the biggest dates (CL finals, Clasicos, important CL games...), he hasn't usually shined, mostly because he has been more conservative.

Maybe his game at the Bernabeu this season, at the 1-3 could be considered one of his best. How he owned the right wing, Cristiano and how he finally assisted to Cesc, was a joy to see.

Too many games to point out the wonderful thing about Dani Alves is I've never really seen him have a bad game, just average at worst + big game player

Its probably one of the smaller games.

I am sure there has been games where he got multiple asissts and was on that crazy wavelength with Messi only those two are on.

So, is Alves a small game player?

No, thats certaintly not what I was saying lol

Just as you said, he can take less risks in bigger games and plays the rightback role in a more standard way.

Against smaller teams we can take more chances because the risk of getting exposed on the break is less.

So naturally, for someone in this unique position its the smaller games where you will have the most offensive impact.

In the big games he is usually 10 out of 10 defensively, locks down his player and of course brings his pressing, intensity and more balanced attacking.

Anyway, I dont believe in "big game flop" type tags.

Defensively he always does very well against Madrid, especially in 2010-11. Had Cristiano in his pocket.
