We got a decent start to the season, showing some bottle by coming from 2 goals down to draw, thanks to our star man Ibracadabra. Its the first game of the season so its important not to lose it, especially since the critics would jump all over any loss we suffer.

Thoroughly enjoyed that game. Ancelotti have got PSG set up very effectively. The own goal by Maxwell was unfortunate because before that and upon till Lorients second goal, PSG were bossing it. Due to PSG's new look system, Lorient had a few half chance.

Menez could've had 2 and Zlatan 5 & Lavezzi 1. That alone is a good look because from an attacking stand point, PSG look ferocious. Lavezzi's work ethic is something else and I could've sworn I saw Zlatan chase back a lost ball. Alternatively, Verrati & Chantome playing as the defensive/ holding duo is flawed because neither offer any real defensive stability. When Matuidi made his entrance things looked more solid centrally. At times Lorient would break and it would be 3 on 3. A more clinical team wouldve capitalised. Still early but definitely a flood advert for Ligue 1.
