Re: Nick Powell
It's officially done. Welcome to United, Nick.
Looks a very exciting prospect. A lot of clubs were in for him, but he chose us. Made the right choice and will be a fan favourite because of that.

Haha! Yeah other than the fact Kleberson was black (no racism intended), from Brazil and played in a total different position......hmm

I think Pogba was a better player

Re: Nick Powell
I don't know much about Powell but having watched Pogba a couple of times I had been very impressed by him.

Re: Nick Powell
I fear he will be overlooked again. The coaching staffs are a bunch of morons.
Powell's quality was obvious even though in his debut season he barely made it as a bench warmer.
Powell, Zaha, and Henriquez are those I'm worried to be the next in line behind Morrison and Pogba towards exit.

Re: Nick Powell
I'm not convinced by Zaha, tbh. It's going to be hard for him to break into the first XI, especially since we've just bought Mata. However, I still think he should still be given his chance.
Henriquez, I think could be our Hernandez next season, has great movement and better touches, but idk if he's able to match Hernandez goals. As 4th striker their would be no pressure on him, I hope next season we use the league cup more for players like him, we used a lot of first team players this season.
Overall, the best of the loanees, has been Nick Powell, it will be a shame if he doesn't get a looking. I'm sure he will though.

Re: Nick Powell
I think it's a safe bet that coaches are competing to sign Henriquez. He is way above Hernandez in terms of potential, and Henriquez is nothing like Hernandez at all because he is far more gifted in technical abilities.

Re: Nick Powell
Hernandez and Henriquez are similar in terms of trying to play off the last defender. I agree though, Henriquez is better technically, so he's always has a chance to make break into the first XI, unlike Hernandez who was always limited.

Re: Nick Powell
Wigan manager has said he has deployed Powell all over the top even as a No.9.....ffs he is mobile for a tall lad and that dribbling
is there a team pumpin out more promising youngsters then us right now....that actually have first team quality, Morrison, Pogba, Januzaj, Powell, Henriquez, Lingard, Pereira

Re: Nick Powell
his size and pace and power and jinking runs....dare I say he looks similar to Ronnie or Bale
maybe not all the step overs like Ronnie but his direct running, taking players on, ability to hit it with both feet and the agility he has for a tall lad

Re: Nick Powell
When I mean I'm unconvinced with Zaha, I mean I'm unconvinced he will break into the first XI. Mata is our most expensive signing and Januzaj is just too good. That's why I feel bad for him, because he should've got his chance, just for the mere fact that Valencia and Young have been incredibly appalling.
I feel Moyes has already made up his mind about Zaha.
Ole has already compared him to Cristiano too, and he talked about Crisitano doing extra training and being the hardest worker he's seen, hopefully he tells Zaha to do the same. Zaha has to work on his close control, though. It doesn't have to be Hazard-esque but players will start to double up on him and Bale suffered from that at times.

His shooting/finishing and dribbling looks so effortless. He just glides through players, like he doesn't have to get out of second gear.

Re: Nick Powell
Leicester apparently has terminated his loan deal owing to their coaching staff getting increasingly frustrated thanks to his lackadaisical attitude towards training. Embarrassingly going to send him packing.
suspect his future looks bleak as a Man U player. Had high hopes for this lad.

Re: Nick Powell
I had a feeling about his bad attitude, when I posted that article about him drink driving. I think it was in the 'Transfer Rumours Thread'.
If he wants to be a dick and waste his career fine, but he can go waste it somewhere else. I hope Van Gaal is ruthless. It's not that annoying, though, whilst Powell was good, he wasn't a Ravel Morrison level of talent.
