It would be interesting to see. Though I'm not sure if Ribery's finishing skills are good enough. He is a great passer though.

Re: #7 - Franck Ribéry
Why do people assume that Guardiola is tryna replicate exactly the tactics he used at Barca ?

Re: #7 - Franck Ribéry
Average finisher and wouldn't be able to get anywhere near the goal with the amount he's on the ground.

What's really annoying is that people are still discussing the idea when the whole premise was wrong.

LOL @ people thinking Messi is the only false 9. Totti will always be the first. He never scored bucket loads of goals. Ribery will probably be there t create space for the wingers. Semantics.

Re: #7 - Franck Ribéry
So what's the scene with Costa now is he gonna continue to start or gonna make way for Robbery and come off bench. Personally I would go with him tbh

Re: #7 - Franck Ribéry
First of all, let's see if there's ever a situation where all of them are fit.
Ribéry will still need a while to get back to being able to start, who knows how long it lasts, Costa is injured right now as is Robben (both not seriously).
If indeed the situaton arises that all of Ribéry, Robben and Costa are fit, Pep has already developed his 4-1-5 lineup with Coman, Costa, Lewandowski, Müller and Robben all starting.
No reason why Ribéry couldn't play Coman's part there.

Re: #7 - Franck Ribéry
Ofcourse they all can play at same time, we are talking about Pep here the guy can play with Neuer as DM for all we know. What I want to know if Costa plays with Robbery then whats his role gonna be? Will continue to be on wings or do you see him anywhere else? CAM?

Re: #7 - Franck Ribéry
Yes, most likely some kind of CAM. He's played that a few times recently. Of course, a lot of switching and swapping will be involved.
