Don't think he'll stay tbh. A lot of teams in for him and look's like a bright prospect.
Not sure who Julien Laurens is, but he says Liverpool is in the driving seat for him. Scared PSG or Manc City might snatch him up though.

Re: Younes Belhanda
L'Equipe reported last week that PSG was readying a 20M bid for him. THey really like him, so unless they have something else in mind, you will have a difficult time outbidding them.

Re: Younes Belhanda
That's what I'm scared about.
Montpellier apparently don't want to sell to another Ligue 1 team though, so I'm quite optimistic.
Is he better as a winger or in the 'hole'? Only seen him about 3 or 4 times. Looked okay from what I've seen. Look's like a Hazard on youtube, but youtube isn't the best to judge a player on.

Re: Younes Belhanda
This kid is crazy good, and I'm not even kidding. So much potential there too.
His passes are creative with the odd sparks of sheer genius.
I think he'll probably stay at Montpellier as he has already said he intends to. When he does leave though, he won't be cheap.
He plays in the hole but can roam a bit. He's not a Hazard.
While both are great passers, Belhanda is probably better and takes more risks from what I've noticed. He reminds me sort of like Zidane (forgive me!!!) in that he picks out clever and accurate little passes, especially when no one is expecting it.
Hazard is a better technician, the edge being his unreal (for his age) dribbling skills ... in addition to the fact that he can pass.
Hazard is better. Belhanda is great too.

Sounds ideal for Milan, pity he's not on our radar... or free.

Re: Younes Belhanda
We want him aswell not quite sure where the money is coming from though
Oh Belhanda is a playmaker please dont even think of playing him on the wing
He's a AM that started his career as a DM so he's extremely good tactically.

Re: Younes Belhanda
it's not sure what Montpellier strategy is, but i listened to their coach talking a bit about next season and he said they wanted to keep him one more year given his age.
would they sell to PSG? well, i think so. I dont know how many clubs could pay 20+m for him.

Re: Younes Belhanda
Think it'll become a Younes vs Gaston Ramirez choice which we'll end up picking Ramirez imo. Wouldn't mind other, just hoping both targets get poached from another club. :\

Re: Younes Belhanda
hehe, it almost as much about not letting other clubs poach him as it is about getting him for ourselves.

Ramirez has been heavily linked with Juventus lately..He also said that his desire is to play CL football next season.

Re: Younes Belhanda
What is your likely offer ?His price is set at 15-20m..
I am hearing rumors of Juve offering 10-12 m + Sorenson and Taider probably on co-ownership.

Re: Younes Belhanda
I dunno but with Suarez and Coates he might be willing to join..
But if we sign Cavani ..Caceres ,Cavani and CL football would be too tempting of a prospect to miss out on although i guess its unlikely it will happen..

Re: Younes Belhanda
Arguably the best player you've ever seen play in Shearer was signed by King Kenny. ;)
He knows a player when he sees one.
Commolli based his signings on "stats" ; and overpayed...

He also sold Beardsley, Ginola, Asprilla, Ferdinand etc etc and replaced them with 38 year olds of Rush and Barnes
