De Ceglie picks up injury

Paolo De Ceglie’s League campaign with Juventus looks to have been ended thanks to an injury that also leaves him a doubt for the Coppa Italia final.

The left-sided full-back, who recently signed an extended deal with the Turin outfit, has been confirmed today by Juve to have suffered a first-degree thigh strain.

Whilst a minor strain to his left leg, the injury is enough to rule the youngster out of the Bianconeri’s remaining League fixtures with Cagliari and Atalanta.

His condition will also have to be assessed by medics and a decision taken at a later date over any possible involvement in May 20’s Coppa Italia final with Napoli.
