How important is our goal difference going to be
as of now the table is
3. Arsenal-> 66 points, +24
4. Newcastle-> 62 points, +7
5. Spuds-> 59 points, +18
6. Chelsea-> 58 points, +18
now if we win tonight and we beat newcastle at SB that would take them out of the equation as we'd be 2 points clear of them and theyd still have to play city, although as things stand all that seperates us from spuds is one point and given their poor form and our crowded fixture list (which has to catch up with us eventualy) i can see both dropping points and its a possibility that we could finish on level points and to miss out on a CL place on goal difference would be terrible.
Thus i think tonight we really have to go for it, we're playing a team in the drop zone, its at home and torres (who will surely start) will be in good spirits after barca so theres no excuses, its games like this and Blackburn at home on the last day of the season that could have just as much as an impact on hwere we finish as the Liverpool game
thoughts?

Everything is going to be important in the run in, goals, points, Fernando's hairstyle.
We must win everygame from here on out.

Fatman, what if we beat City and you lose to Liverpool? what then?
Seriously tho, we will continue to bottle it as we always do and have already begun to bottle it and Spurs could'nt win a game atm if thier lives depended on it.
It's yours to lose tbh.

then its going to be twice as sweet when we beat Bayern
honestly though, as long as spuds dont get 4th, everyone wins, and if newcastle do get it i wish you the best of luck in Europe next year

i dont think its that clear cut tbh, i mean this fixture list has to catch up with us sooner or later and tonight we've got bossingwa at CB, and Paulo at RB, afterall the last time they were in the same back line was that "begining of the end" loss to Sunderland at SB last season

Re: How important is our goal difference going to be
so if newcastle and spuds both dont win their last game of the season and we win both our remaining games then we will finish 4th, interestingly if spuds draw their last game of the season we should snatch 4th on goal difference
