Will be interesting to see if Reading can keep their late-season superb form on (despite losing in the play-offs).

Can Cardiff overcome the huge disappointment of not winning promotion, it was supposed to be their big season. A bit same with Nottingham Forest.

What can Erikkson do with Leicester, they seem to be spending and no doubt aiming for promotion.

Plus of course lots of relegation and mid-table battle and an interesting eye on the relegared teams (West Ham, Birmingham (what's with all the ham...) and Blackpool) and maybe Middlesbrough can start finally improving, too?

Looking forward ^^

Nice to see Blackpool starting off well, despite losing some key players.

Southampton and Brighton don't seem to be too much afraid of the Championship level either.

No specific teams, but for the 2009/10 season they announced the games pretty early on.

Gotta say the promoted Southampton are wasting no time getting used to this league... 3 games, 3 wins, trashing Ipswich away 2 - 5 tonight.

Only Eriksson could come up with absurd quotes like this:

"The Championship is not the Premier League but it's very close. This league is fantastic – it's the fourth or fifth most-followed league in the world. I'd rather be where I am than be with a middle Serie A team or a middle team in Portugal."

At least Arlladyce is better than Steve Kean. He's not the best of managers but he'll keep you up.

Well, Big Sam has got fairly good results in his career.

By no means he's the most exciting of the lot, but more efficient results-wise than most, I'd say.

West ham a very good and organised team. Favourites for promotion with the high flying saints.

West Ham know how to perform away from home which many teams in championship struggle to get to grips with: they are either too defensive or too attack minded. West Ham have nailed how to play on road and Southampton are also learning.

Definte candidates for automatic promotion.

affraid

(I can't post a link but if you search for him on google there seems to be a worrying amount of support for this to happen Shocked )

Agreed tbh as i have said i dont care what the nationality the next manager is, or winning something anymore aslong as the national team players good football and dont make me fall asleep while watching it and youth is given more of a chance.....

Anyway thats for another topic.

I hope Southampton keep it up( want to see them in the Prem again) and Crystal Palace go up just so we can see our good friend Darren Ambrose again Very Happy

Nice thread btw.

Seems like Roy Keane is odds on favourite to be the new manager for Leicester City.
