What does this have to do with anything, the thread is about getting falcao if higgy doesnt improve enough by next year. 1 for 1. You cant shoot down any argument for any transfer by saying there will be too many players or it is unrealistic tactically.

It's not going to be as conservtive as it sounds i think, it's gonna be about him occupying a posiiton in front of the defense and roaming and changing with the other forward. that's how i envision it.
both aguero and Neymar are more than able to play on the left and center (bar neymar to some extent), so they can rotate.
@sportsczy, mourinho will push him to play the position more and more. He wont be an exclusive forward like Higuain is ofc.
if u get both Neymar and Aguero and they are all playing, what happens to Ozil?
he just becomes another assuredly burnt talent, a trademark of Real Madrid?

What's wrong with Higuain? Also all we need this summer is Aguero and a 3rd striker like Adebayor.

Aguero is a possiblity and would fit to Madrid system perfectly, as for neymar i dont he will never ever set a foot to Bernabeuelmystique wrote:St_Nick09_of_Goal wrote:Yuri Yukuv wrote:I dont know, Ronnie as CF doesnt sound too hot unless he loses pace and were forced to, even then id rather play him as SS (Instead of LW) as opposed to CF.

what are you talking about? we arent signing both, specially not this summer.
and ozil can still play AM if i remember correctly.
neymar ronaldo aguero
khedira alonso/nuri ozil
so what becomes of Benz and Higuain, wasted talent or sold?
and if you are not buying both, and reports claim you are almost closing the deal for Neymar, then I doubt Kun will come then...

Re: Radamel Falcao
the chances of Falcao entering ballon d'or mode anytime soon are close to 10%.
Dont get me wrong, wonderful forward, deadly inside the box, but just like higuain, you have to feed him. Porto's system was designed to suit his skills to perfection, and he is such a great finisher and poacher he just kept on banging goals.

Re: Radamel Falcao
I think less than 10% to be honest. But to say that falcao is only good in the box is a bit underestimating him, he has good dribbling speed and pretty great speed/acceleration (which made him deadly against spanish teams).
He isnt really an RVN (Cavani isnt either).

Re: Radamel Falcao
WHY WHY WHY ???
Why get Falcao when we have a happy and settled player in Higuain, and Benzema! Aguero (proven in the spanish league) is on his way too!
Why spend 30m + on a player that is basically a prospect...?

Re: Radamel Falcao
Falcao is 26 years old, first time he exploded in his league. All their system is set to suit him. For your info, Higgy doesn't suck, our system is made for CR7. Did you seriously state goals/ minute useless for a poacher? C'mon yuri, you could argue better than thatYuri Yukuv wrote:St_Nick09_of_Goal wrote:As long as we are doing fine and winning, i dont think it's necessary to boot him out.

Higgy is 23, he is 1,84m tall , two-footed , great acceleration and positioning. He has to work on bulking up himself+ shooting technique. Poachers only get better with age, I would never sell him if the RMA board would be sane If Higgy develops the right way ( He doesn't seem to be a slacker), he'll be similar to Batigol light in 3 years :lol!:

But on batigol. Guy was just so physical and shot the ball so hard with deadly accuracy. Hec ould finesse it if he wanted to... But most of the time he just blasted it. Think about a cf with Roberto carlos' shot velocity. My favorite striker really. I rate him even higher than r9.

So you do have buttons that can be pressed babun
He is 184 cm tall but he doesnt really head that much, falcao does it alot better. Both of us know that porto is built around hulk and not falcao, just like we are build around cris and not our striker. Its very rare to find teams built around out and out striker tbh. I dont suffer from any fanzemitis but I would like us to consider the scenario where benz/aguero comes out on top and higgy doesnt improve/fails in CL again. Im putting out falcao as a possibility because he is the type of guy we are looking for and the best at it. I never said that goals/minute dont matter but I really beleive stats dont express the whole story and thats why I countered with falcaos numbers, anyone can play this game.
Babun I beleive that there are major flaws with higgys game, he finds it hard to control through balls so thus he has to either position himself or beat his man with speed first (which he does more than positioning to be honest). I barely ever see him do one touch goals like Falcao, Sanchez, RvN or Zamorano. Aside from not being able to drible or do quick one twos with any players in tough games (this takes away alot of the effectiveness of his positioning) . These flaws in his game are what makes it hard for him to score against big teams. His main strength including quick thinking and being able to swiftly capitalize on defensive errors as well as the ability to shoot from any position in the box (although he usually needs control it with a touch first). These facets of his game will make him effective against weaker ones (time and space is given as well as defensive errors).
Falcao on the other hand has great ability to control through balls, crosses and to score one touch goals. He is also a better dribblers, he isnt messi but he will certainly provide space to others.
I think we should consider falcao and monitor him over the next year when he plays CL football, we should also monitor higgy and if he is able to overcome his own obstacles or the team can accomodate him better in big games. I am a bit guilty of being a fanboy and having a certain affection for zamorano which seems to have transfered to him, but I really dont think my stance is unreasonable. I also believe that having our two main strikers belonging to different age groups would be beneficial.

Of all the things you mentioned, only the one touch finishing seems like a real problem but you learn it with time Like I said, poachers need time to mature into something bigYuri Yukuv wrote:babun1024 wrote:Falcao is 26 years old, first time he exploded in his league. One more funny point, if someone didn't know Higgy and read your post they'll be thinking that he is an EPL type player, all about speed with little technique...
