Borriello expects Juve stay
Marco Borriello expects to be at Juventus next season, as he is already looking ahead to pre-season next year with the Turin side.
The striker arrived at the club in January on a six-month loan deal from Roma, but where director general Beppe Marotta secured the option for the club to then make the deal permanent in the summer, they are not obliged to do so and a final decision remains unclear at this time.
However, Borriello is looking ahead to next season with the title-chasing side, and to breaking his goalless start to life at Juve.
“I expect to score too,” Borriello admitted today on Juventus Channel. “But right now the important thing is that Juve will win, then if I score goals or not it is not a problem.
“I’ve not lost confidence, I’m an alert and ambitious player and I fully share the club’s ambitions.
“First of all I want to end this year on a high and even if I don’t score it’s not a problem, all that matters is that Juve win.
“Then I hope to start next year and conduct pre-season along with the rest of the group. And the goals will come.
“I’ve always scored them, and will so at Juventus.”
The striker reflected on the run of form the team are currently enjoying, one that has left them three points clear of Milan with five games to play.
“We are experiencing a moment of great joy and happiness. As the Coach said, we are the masters of our own destiny and it’s all in our hands.
“The secret to this success? The work that was done last summer by the players and the work they continue to do during each week. It is a very intense style of training that pays off every Sunday.
“We are aware that there are five more difficult games to now play. However, we cannot wait to face them because I think we have just found the maturity to deal with certain styles of play.”
The first opportunity for the club to back up Borriello’s assertion comes in midweek with a trip to Cesena.
“With Cesena it will be a tough game, because even if they are bottom of the League they have shown that they play in a professional way. It will be an encounter in which we will have to remain extremely careful.
“But, as I said, I believe Juve have found the right maturity to face these types of games with the required attention.”

Re: Borriello expects Juve stay
Ahahahahahah.
I like what he says about Juventus but if scoring goals as a striker is not important then I would now like to officially request I get signed up by Juventus.
I will take £1,000,000 per year and never complain about being benched. If I do play as a forward, don't expect me to score, assist or keep the ball.

Only a mad man would waste previous transfer funds on this joker
Boriello, thanks for nothing - move on.
Please vacate your locker/dressing room space for Jovetic.
