Juventus monitoring Iker Muniain
The Turin giants are closely tracking the young Spain international and they are also believed to be keen on strengthening their squad with two defenders and a midfielder
The Serie A leaders are looking to add a high-profile name to their attack in the summer transfer window, and they see Muniain, 19, as a potential target to reinforce their squad.
The Pamplona-born starlet is a product of the Athletic youth academy and has developed into a key player for the Basque giants since making his first-team debut in July 2009.
The forward, who has been capped at senior level for Spain, will not be available on the cheap, however, as he has a contract until June 2015 with his current club.

In addition to Muniain, Juventus have also shown an interest in Torino defender Angelo Ogbonna and Cagliari's Davide Astori.
Ogbonna, 23, is held in high regard by Juve's technical staff as they see the Italy international as an ideal addition to their back-line. However, the Bianconeri face stiff competition from AC Milan in the race for the centre-back's signature.
Should they fail to land the Torino man, they could turn their attention to 25-year-old Astori, who is a personal favourite of general director Giuseppe Marotta.
...............................................................................................................................................
Meanwhile, the Bianconeri are sitting in pole position to lure Italy Under-21 star Marco Verratti away from Pescara.
Talks between the two clubs have intensified in recent days and Juventus are hopeful of signing the midfielder on a co-ownership deal worth €3.5 million.
Pescara set an initial €8m asking price for Verratti's full economical rights, but the Turin giants are confident that an agreement will eventually be reached.

We'll have to buy back Giovinco before we can give him to anyone and I imagine that will cost us 10 million at least.

Muniain is quality. I really like this guy - similar to Nasri in playing style and very young. Anything under 15 mill € is a good deal

Why not have De Cegile at left back & Chiellini & Barzagli/Bonucci in the middle?

I don't think he add something special
if CONTE wants attacking minded left back then he need to bid for MARCELO
but I think CONTE prefers defensive minded side backs

I really wonder what television u been watching...
De Ceglie is great going forward...
Do admit his crosses can be better but in time that will improve...
Marcelo is a great player...don't get me wrong...but when Marcelo lacks motivation...he sucks bad & easily frustrated (eg. the Bayern,he was lost & had no idea what to do, that late challenge on Muller could've easily been a red)
In all fairness...I think De Ceglie is one of the best LB in Europe or if not have potential to be...

PDC isn't even close to being or becoming one of the best LBs in Europe. That's just ridiculous. You need to watch more football that isn't a Juve match if you believe that.

Re: Juventus monitoring Iker Muniain
PDC isnt in Marcelo's league attacking wise ,though defensively he is improving.I am not sure how much more he would improve though as he's already 26 but he's had a good season overall nonetheless.
If reckon we'll be playing 3-5-2 mainly next season ,i get that feeling. So in that respect i think Armero will be a superb signing. He is an absolute beast and waiting to explode at a big side.Dont forget that Conte rotates a lot as well so even if another full-back comes in ,PDC will get substantial playing time.
I dont think we should consider taking up the option to permanently sign Estigarribia. He has hardly been impressive.

I agree. I don't think he's worth 5 million that he'll cost in a transfer. I'd rather see younger players in our system get a chance and spend that money on attack options for next season.

Re: Juventus monitoring Iker Muniain
PDC in attack is great his crosses are like he leads the ball by arms to his targets. In defense he must improve if he wants to be up there but he really improved give him more time and he will be great LB
