HTC One X or Samsung Galaxy S3

this morning samsung posted this photo on there twitter account with the words, "Soon You'll Meet The Next Galaxy"


this just days before the release of the HTC One X by rogers in Canada on the 20th (has already been released in parts of europe)

the meeting of the new galaxy is supposively going to take place may 3rd in london england, which makes sense as Samsung is a major sponsor of the upcoming London Summer Olympic games this year

these phones are 2 of the most anticipated of the year along with the iphone 5 which we will likely see in the fall of 2012

for those in the market for a phone, which one will you be buying? I was going to go pick up the HTC within the next week from rogers unlock it and use it with telus (who will be getting the HTC One S, but the smaller screen doesn't appeal to me and no LTE), but this news from Samsung changes everything, I might tough it out with my BB till may to see what Samsung is bringing to the table, rumoured specs of the phone have been pretty impressive

I just got the Nexus a few months back so i won't be able to get either one.... but i would love to have a SIII if i could, It's gonna be a beast.

expecting a powerful cpu and hopefully gpu

There's no point deciding to buy a phone before it is announced .

I had the same doubt some days ago... I chose Samsung Galaxy S3, but really, the HTC One X seemed to be equally good and was 100€ cheaper. I decided for the Samsung because a couple of friends have it and say it works great, while I don't know anyone with this One X.

One x is a amazing phone, on par with S3 but HTC isn't as known as Sammy and people go for brand names first

I'll be making this decision soon too, in January, and unless it's better to wait, I'm going to go for SIII because it has removable batteries and a better camera. Also, the one x looks nicer, but everyone puts a rubber thing on their phones anyway.

i am selling my galaxy nexus and getting a nexus 4

Got the SIII, very good phone and the Android OS is so intuitive and easy to use! Easiest technology gadget I've ever used.
It's too big for my taste, but I'll adapt.

yeah, got my hand on it at a local store and it felt amazing.

I like stock phones, hate all the dumb things OEM's put on their phones to make them distinct.

plus i want to try the wireless charging and it's only $350 for 16gb on google play (sold out atm and unlocked).
